Didn't realize I walked down an empty road, Saw the stars shine, wishing on them endlessly. Watched everything fall apart at the seams, Watched you walk away as if it came so easily. I don't blame you for everything that's gone, I'm not perfect, never claimed to be. Didn't hear the words you might have whispered low, Wrote you letters I know you'll likely never see. Wasn't a good friend when I truly wished I was, I'm not perfect, but I want to say I'm sorry. If you see my words written across the distant stars, Just know I mean each and every word I carry. I'm not perfect, and I don't pretend to be, Just wishing things could have turned out differently. If you come across these words, I mean them deep, From the bottom of my heart, I hope you can forgive, Even if we don't go back to how we used to be.
I'm not perfect.....
