"PRINCESS, WE HAVE COLLECTED EVERYTHING THAT YOU'VE ASKED US FOR," the butler bowed as he handed over a thorough report to the young lady sitting in front him. Princess Isis Frederick, the only lady of the highest status in the empire rustled through the pages of reports collected by the butler.
"...how intriguing," Isis said as she flopped through everything. Her eyes scanned the documents as she said, "And you left no evidence behind, correct?"
"Yes, everything has been disposed of... nobody will know we have investigated such matters," the butlers responded.
Isis smirked, it's been a while since the game of cat-and-mouse between the Aristocratic party and the Royal family faction had gotten interesting.
"...just what did Viscount Louvre do, for the entire capital, no... all these high key players are all becoming so interesting?"
Isis's eyes scanned the report, Viscount Louvre has been smuggling goods from all over the continent while avoiding paying tariffs. He has also been auctioning these rare artifacts for high prices and hasn't reported his earnings in the tax reports.
These rare artifacts are... quite interesting as well. Other reports said that there were no such rarity in most of the artifacts he sold. Although the Viscount had allegedly emphasized they have some kind of magical powers or essence of it, most of his customers have reported dissatisfaction from his products.
On top of that Viscount Louvre has also opened an illegal casino which he was going to close down soon because a bunch of shark lenders have been coming after him, which puts many other patrons at risk.
So many dirty things... no wonder why such dregs of society were cancelled. But that asn't the question that Isis was looking forward to answering. She wanted to know why Mielle Roscente was so interested in all of these things.
