30. So I've been getting some Gossips

AFTER THE FEW TURBULENT DAYS AFTER MY BIRTHDAY, my life has been slowly returning to its way of peace. Well, peaceful in the way that I didn't have to worry about any social gatherings or social presence. But, I've still been internally dreading the situation with the hourglass and the Blue orb. 

There has been a lot going on. First, Aria has been using the hourglass a lot against me. This has proven to be a challenge a lot. I have no idea of the knowledge she's aware of, and I have no idea what to do to screw her over. 

Second of all, I've also been researching as much as I can about the magical bloodline of the Piast family but nothing shows up. That's just crazy... how can there be no records on something such as this? Do I need to travel elsewhere outside of the Kingdom to find it? 

Perhaps the neighboring kingdom of Croa? 

Nah... that'd be too much. I shook my head. 

Emma has for now banned me from any research or association with the Royal family's secret experiments conducted a millennia ago. That was because we were being tracked and watched for prying our eyes too much into this. 

Ugh, so many things are going on... but there are no solutions to anything at all! I gasped angrily, wailing my hands around. Emma shook her head displeased but said, "My lady, please behave appropriately, it feels like your manners diminish every second as you grow older." 

I didn't give a fuck about that, it's not like anybody is watching me. And besides that why should I act lady-like when I'm by myself? Cut me some slack, will you? 

Emma was the type of person who believed in 'etiquette' and noble culture. She was the one who constantly believed that one should develop 'finer' hobbies of a lady... and one should always act stiff and stuffy even when no one is around. 

I honestly didn't care. If I'm by myself and no one other than Emma is watching, then why can't I act like myself? 

"I've heard recently that the wrench... is studying up everything," Emma said. "If my lady doesn't work hard then..." Emma looked worried. I rolled my eyes, Aria is ahead of me in terms of manners and stuff like that. But I didn't care about that. 

I need to find a way, ASAP to fight against the hourglass.

The first thing to do was try to contact the mysterious outsider who gave me the letter a couple of days ago. That proved difficult because I didn't know any details about them. 

I don't even know what this mysterious outsider looks like!

So basically shit is going on. No progress... every day felt like a dead end. And experimenting with the Blue Orb didn't help at all!

So the only thing I could do was...

"My lady, Lady Loren is here," Emma announced. I stood up immediately as I said, "So Sarah is finally here-!" and immediately rushed down towards the lobby to greet her. 

The mansion didn't look too busy as I came down the stairs as I saw the pink-haired woman with blue teal eyes look up towards me with a bright smile as she said: 

"Oh! Good afternoon, Lady Mielle-!" Sarah happily greeted me as she looked up from the foyer towards the stairs. I looked down to see the guest right next to her side already: Aria. 

Oh, she's here too of course.
