22. So I've received A Threat?

ALTHOUGH I LEFT ARIA'S BIRTHDAY UNSCATCHED, I STILL HAD ONE REMAINING JOB The Main Villainess's letter was in my hands. That's right, Princess Isis of the Great Frederick Duchy had made her little brother deliver her letter to Mielle Roscente. I could only imagine, or barely grasp what this letter was about.

A threat? Or perhaps an invitation to a new negotiation or concession? I barely even remembered what we discussed last time. I forgot about the main Villainess' existence for a whole second because I was so busy jostling with Aria.

The reason why I could put up without worrying about Aria's ability turn the hourglass was because, I had made sure to make Aria rush towards her birthday, therefore, she would forgotten to bring her hourglass with her.

The second reason was, that Aria couldn't turn back time for more than five minutes. I've tested this ability numerous times, and it seems that it's only been five minutes since I returned the original timeline. Therefore I had to stall the time for the drama to occur over thirty minutes, therefore she couldn't do anything about it.

That's why I gave her a brooch before Oscar showed up thirty minutes later, so she wouldn't expect my plan to hit her like a truck at all.

Anyhow, this calculated plan can only work so long until Aria gains smarts, for now, I'm playing with her stupidity. Thank god, they didn't give her brains this time around!

Anyhow, back to Isis, the OG Big Villain.

Damn it. What is it this time?! I opened the letter when I was upstairs in my room. I squinted my eyes when I read through the fine lines of squiggly writing.

'Dear Lady Mielle,

Our last meeting had been only so abrupt, yet left many loose-tailed wonders and curiosities. I am compelled to extend to you a most sincere invitation for a cup of tea once again. With the grace that befits establishing acquaintanceship, I humbly request the pleasure of your company for a delightful afternoon reprieve at our Frederick manor.

I am very grateful to receive your last gift, I am quite fortunate to see the forgotten antiques present in our world. For the Roscent manor to possess such a beautiful treasure, could only showcase the prestige of your pure-blooded noble house.

As the tapestry of our lives intertwines amidst the grandeur of our noble houses, both Frederick and Roscent, I discern the potential for our association to blossom into a harmonious alliance.

My brother will also be pleased with your presence, as it is quite an intimate one. Please,  I wish that you do not let the tea sit cold, else it shall be too spoilt for one to consume it. I'd rather not have you consume it spoilt, in the best wish for your health.

With dearest regards,

Lady Frederick'

Who even has the time to write this?! Is this a piece of literature in itself?! Is this how people used to write back in the day? What in the Shakespearan does this even mean?

Frederick manor... tea-party... alliance... Oscar is going to be there?! What?!

As my mind wrapped itself to analyze the entire piece of literature that someone had hand-written to me... I sighed in disappointment. Damn it, I need Emma again... Ugh...

I called for Emma immediately to come up to my room as I handed her the letter I had received from the Villain. Emma read through the entire letter, and even she had looked a little confused at the endless metaphors and symbolism present within this letter.

"...What does this even mean, Emma?!" I complained to her as always, as she analyzed each content bit by bit.

"...I believe this is another invitation to a tea party at the Frederick manor." Emma stated, "It'd be best that we go, as it is crucial for the Roscent family to build a strong companionship with the Ducal family such as the Fredericks,"
