Prologue: After spending the night with Kei in his own room, the couple head to class and are introduced to the next special exam that has the potential to have implications depending on if everyone plays by the rules
Ayanokoji's POV:
It's been a few days since the partners exam and everyone seems to be relieved and taking a step back from the exams bit, but I knew they can't let our guard down. As the next special exam was just around the corner.
Last night just felt good, Kei and I were cuddling each throughout the entire night and her warmth could not be described in words. But those thoughts echoed again in my head that night when I was reminded of what the future will hold and that it could potentially mean I could be separated from Kei. It was something that I couldn't push out of my mind. Even though I still had 18 months left. The time felt like it etching closer and closer.
*Ruffle* *Ruffle*
That feels good... It's morning now. I wonder if Karuizawa is....
*Eyes flutter open, then opens completely*
"Morning Darling!" Giggled Kei as my golden eyes locked onto her pristine amethyst purple eyes.
We engaged in a bit of a staring contest in which to my surprise Kei won as she then cuddled me tightly just like she did last night. Which mind you, it felt so good cuddling her. It was as if she is the fire to melt my frozen heart and my emotionless self.
Unbeknownst to me, Kei was snuggling me again like I was her teddy bear. Bringing me back to reality. I glanced at the clock to see the time being 6:30 am. As I glanced at Kei and was softly ruffling her hair. It was so silky and soft that not even fine and woven fabric could compare.
Then she stopped cuddling me and sat on my lap facing me as she wrapped her arms around my neck. Likewise, I wrapped my arms around her lower back. Her face so close to mine. We've never had a true proper kiss before. Only to each other's cheeks and forehead but this moment...
"Ki... Kiyotaka... I..." Kei's voice sounded hesitant since our faces were so close to each other.
"It's alright Kei if you feel hesitant about our first true kiss." I replied. "Is my girl hungry? I'll be making breakfast."
Karuizawa's POV:
I really was hesitant about kissing Kiyotaka. I don't know if I wanted to kiss him right there and then. But then he mentioned breakfast. I guess my mind wasn't straight with something in my stomach. As I just heard it growl.
"Alright Kiyotaka, I am indeed in need of breakfast."
I replied to which he nodded.
We both climbed out of bed as he went on to do his bed and then started to cook breakfast for us. I on the other hand went on take a shower and a very refreshing one. After I dried myself up, I proceeded to head to kitchen to find Kiyotaka and one plate full of food in between two plates. But that wasn't the surprising part. It was the fact that his plate was still squeaky clean, indicative that he hadn't ate yet.
'Looks like he was waiting for me, what a gentleman he is.' I thought to myself. As I sat down opposite of Kiyotaka about to eat our breakfast until I realised there was a note on my plate.
"This pile of food you see infront of you is all yours. That's how much I care and love about you. If you're worried about me don't worry I had my breakfast.
TAWUA! This is all for me? Whoa wait a second.
"Kiyotaka..." Tears shed from my eyes. He stood up and came over to me.
