Prologue: Matsushita is worried about the uninhabited island exam. Ayanokoji and Karuizawa ensure that she'll be alright and there isn't anything to be worried about. Everyone is ready to board the buses bound for the cruise ship except for one person in the massive group involving Ayanokoji and Karuizawa. Our group then walks towards the buses and by the time they board the cruise ship they all settle down as the evening turns to night. But Ayanokoji and Karuizawa are planning to have something. A memory the two of them will forever remember.
Ayanokoji's POV:
"Can you tell us what is wrong Chiaki? It's only just us so you can freely express what you're feeling right now." I stated trying to get the brunette girl to start speaking.
"I... I don't know how to feel about this special exam Kiyo... It's 2 weeks long. Do you think you and Kei form a group with me?" She stuttered numerous times trying to convey her feelings and words.
Kei then turned to me as I not only paraphrase her words but also on how I reply to her. It's too risky for anyone to partner with me considering my concerns about the White Room students might pose my classmates to be in harm way. Also, it's quite possible that the first years will be going after me. Those first years... do they never get off my tail? What is so interesting about me that I have become a magnet for them? I still remember that bounty over my head but surely from what I have heard the students that we're chosen to expel me have backed off. But I know they potentially are lying are instead planning to attack & expel me.
I then realised that Chiaki has her full attention back at me – waiting for me to respond to her answer. I must break the unwelcoming news to her.
"Sorry Chiaki, I wish I can form a group with you, but I can't. As for why, I can't disclose that. In fear that it might get leaked if someone we're to eavesdrop and we are unaware of that." I replied in my usual monotone voice.
"Oh... okay, Kiyotaka-Kun." The disappointment of her face spoke volumes.
"Tell us Matsushita Chiaki, why are you worried about this exam though?" Reiterating my question from earlier.
"It's 2 weeks long, but... I don't know if I can last alone. Please Kei surely form a group with me." Her voice sounding desperate.
Karuizawa's POV:
I am not in a group, nor have I formed one. I was hoping I could pair myself with my darling, but that seems futile I don't want to doubt his actions. I know him all too well that those annoying first years are on him again with those words exchanged with Chiaki and from prior experience with him. Why do things keep happening to him. Why does it always have to be him? A magnet for grabbing attention.
But here, Chiaki is wondering if I can form a group with her. Oh dear... what do I do? I suddenly clutched onto Kiyotaka's arm, looking at him with my adorable pleading eyes. Communicating with him saying. 'What do I do?'
"Kei, why don't you form a group with her?" Kiyotaka whispered.
"Heh! W-why Kiyotaka?" My initial response was given that I was taken by surprise.
My voice and shocked attracted Chiaki's attention and as she looked at me after her eyebrows started to raise as she noticed my actions of clinging onto Kiyotaka's arm and our non-verbal communication with each other.
"So... Chiaki, would you like to form a group with me then? If possible, I'll see if I can get Nene in this new founded group. Unfortunately, due to the rules I can't bring Maya into the group but if we win. We can expand we can appoint her into our group. Also knowing you, Mori tends to hang out with you more often even though we all go as a group." I replied – letting her into my group.
