Ayanokoji's POV:
(Day 1): The day has finally come and the next 14 days we are on this uninhabited island. As I saw my friends go a third-year student came up to me. It was Kiryuuin. After a bit of chatter before I ventured towards my destination she asked if I could hike with her as it just so happened we have the same destination, but I declined her offer for her to trek with me as I started off to my first destination.
Throughout the day I arrived at all my destinations early scoring 15 extra points for an early arrival plus an additional 10 for being the first person at destination C5. But along the way as I passed D3 I passed a familiar girl. A first year to be exact. Her name? Nanase Tsubasa. What about her? She knows me from the connection with my butler and his son Matsuno Eiichiro. At C5 when we crossed paths, I exchanged a couple of words with her, but it was just usual chatter. There wasn't anything unusual. As the sun started to simmer below the horizon and after completing a few tasks. Which we're related to history and physics which I achieved perfect scores. But while at the physics task whilst waiting in queue I saw Hoshinomiya-sensei and for whatever reason she kept at her antics like all the previous interactions she's had with me. Saying things like. "You should join my class," and "Perfect test score" to recall a few of the quotes she voiced at my ear. It quite literally was embarrassing. But I just brushed it off as I had no intention of even joining her class and still focused on my current class. I didn't see the benefit of transferring out of my current class either. After the physics task I went down to one more destination – E7 before I saw Sudo's group which included Ike and a Class C student.
One thing I noticed about Ike was that he wasn't feeling it - even though this exam showcases his best abilities he appeared to be hung up on something. He felt to put it simply let down as if he felt defeated. I decided it was best if I strike a conversation with him and get his group involved.
"Hey Ike?" I asked.
"Huh? Ayanokoji? Why are you calling me?" Ike was full of question as I broke the dead silence.
"You haven't been yourself presumably since you left the cruise ship. What's up? Something bothering you?" I replied as he lifted his head up looking up at me instead of the ground.
"Ye...yeah... Something I admit is bothering me. It's about Shinohara." Ike responded in a gloomy voice.
This piqued the interest of Sudo who listened in to the conversation I had with Ike. As he decided to get himself talking in the conversation.
"What about Shinohara Ike?" Sudo asked as Ike glanced at him taking his attention off me.
"It's just... just..." I noticed Ike was stuttering a lot. Could it be that he has a crush on Shinohara?
"Your heart fluttering for her? Is that right Ike?" Sudo asked again.
"Ye-yeah... it's hard getting the words out." Ike voiced with total defeat. "I heard she was in a group with Komiya and other Class C members." He sat in total silence afterwards.
I heard that Shinohara went in a pair with the others being from Class C – including Komiya which apparently, I heard from her she liked recalling from what I heard from Kei and the rest of group. Which was a clear oversight all of us including myself didn't account for. It was at the time and still is only time I've been stunned at hearing someone within the class doing the decision making themselves however, I didn't raise my concerns as it's her decision, Sudo's group has people outside of our class and I'm sure the other cohorts are no different supposedly.
"Sudo." I called his name.
"Yeah Ayanokoji? What is it?" He replied.
"Let's give Ike some space, as we observed he isn't in the mindset let alone nothing is driving him also it's nighttime as well. Let's ensure he rests easy, and we can deal with this tomorrow morning – right now isn't appropriate talking about his dilemma." To which Sudo nodded as I set up my tent and equipment and as I looked at my watch saying 9 pm decided to sleep for the night as did the others.

[A/N]: Apologies that Chapter 13 and 14 are taking a bit i haven't put too much time in them - Chapter 13 is only about 30% or so complete. I'm currently filling the gaps between Days 1 - 7 as well as 7 - 14 when i get there. I am expecting Chapter 13 to be done early or middle of next week but anticipate 1-2 more previews to screen to have some insight on what this uninhabited island exam still has left to offer to you all!
