Vol 1. Chapter 12 - Something Feels Off

Prologue: It was a beautiful morning, the sun was shining as the cruise ship was cruising through the Philippine Sea on its way to uninhabited island however, before the commencement of the uninhabited island special exam. A few rules were tweaked. What could this mean and who will be the bottom 5 groups that will be expelled and be going home?

Ayanokoji's POV:

It was a brand-new morning as I felt the sun rays on my face onboard the cruise ship as we were bound for this uninhabited island for our next exam. But before any of that can be focused on, I felt a bit of weight on my body. That's right, overnight I slept with Kei, and she slept by my side hugging me tightly but as I wake up, she somehow ended up sleeping on me, using me as if I was her mattress, still hugging me tightly. Quite ironic to say am I right?

I didn't want to disturb her peaceful sleep but looking at her she's gorgeous when she is sleeping. Unbeknownst to me, that woke Kei up. Although she was hugging me tightly, I failed to realise her head and face wasn't facing me and was facing towards the wall to my right. Kei's amethyst-coloured pupils blinked a few times before she turned to face me.

"Morning Kiyotaka." Kei said with a slight yawn.

"Morning Kei." I replied.

"Mou, I heard all of that. Watching me sleeping all night?" As she poked my chest.

"No, but I was eventually planning to this." As I proceeded to kiss her.

Time like yesterday stopped as we were left in an imaginary world where our live and desire for each other couldn't be destroyed. We tussled tongues and exchanging kisses with each other. Eventually, our lips parted.

"Your lips are so tasty Kiyotaka." Kei was radiating happiness whilst we were sharing our love for one another in bed.

"Shall we get up and have breakfast?" I asked.

"Of course, Kiyotaka, you can never go the day without breakfast." Kei replied still smiling as she snuggles him with a hug. Eventually we get out of bed and as is normal at school as Kei goes to have a shower, I go and make the both of us breakfast.

Today I thought it was an okay to make her something that we don't usually if ever eat mainly because, we've been mainly eating traditional Japanese breakfasts. But I improvised and decided to flip some pancakes. In addition, knowing Kei she'd would probably like hers with more butter than mine since I don't want excessive amounts of fat and or salt in my systems. As I finished completing breakfast Kei came out of the bathroom, into the kitchen and hugged me from behind around my waist.

"What has my sweet darling cooked for me today?" As she released me from her hug. "WAH! He cooked me pancakes?" She screamed.

Kei then turned back to me and wrapped her arms around my neck as she pulled me down closer to her lips since I was taller than her as our lips collided. I was savouring every moment of it as the world around us didn't mean anything to us in the moment. After awhile though our lips parted as I started to speak.

"Sweetheart, as much as I want to continue kissing you, our breakfast is going to get cold." I replied in my usual monotone voice.

"I love when you speak with that tone darling but yes, we shall dig into our breakfast." As Kei had a bright smile on her face.

Afterwards, I went into shower as Kei went and cleaned our breakfast up. But as I step into the kitchen, Kei was waiting for me as she wrapped her around my left arm and snuggling it as well as resting her head on my shoulder.

"Kei, we got our belongings ready for the 2-week uninhabited island exam?" I asked her which caused to her to remove her head from my shoulder and look at me in the eyes as I can see her blissful smile.
