Cassandra's POV;

"Please," I start, "You wouldn't know what 'romantic' meant even if Cupid himself slapped you on the face with his arrow."

"You think you know me? Huh," He says, cocking his head to the side and chuckling minus the humor.

"Not necessarily. But I do know that you have those girls for reasons more than your so-called 'charms'. What I'm trying to say is, take away your looks and those girls wouldn't know you existed." I wave off quite bluntly.

Right now, we're trying to figure out
our medalling plan to get Zoey and lover boy together. Except, Xavier
claims to know more about girls than anyone on the face of the planet.

"Isn't that the case with every higher-than-average-looking guy?" He frowns and crosses his arms across his chest, "I'm not saying I'm a Calvin Klein model, but The whole 'You only have girls because of the way you look.' theory. --Well, instead of blaming my genetics for the way I look, blame the girls for going for me because of said reason. A lot of girls preach to me about this, when really, girls are at fault too. I don't go around forcing them to feel attracted towards me, Nor am I going to hang myself because they do." He says matter-of-factly and for the first time I actually get where this guy is coming from.

"I..Guess you're right." I mutter pursing my lips together, still surprised how fast my opinion changed. He did have a point, after all.

Xavier looks like he's about to smirk and for a second I'm sure he does, but he turns around to his laptop immediately and gets back to business.

"Nathan goes to New York next week for three days, We need to start planning. -And fast."

I found out that 'lover boy' is actually Nathan Manchester, Xavier's bestfriend. I don't know how to react to him having a crush on Zoey because I barley know him.

"Okay, do you have any ideas? This isn't going to be easy, Zoey is as uninterested in guys as it gets."

Xavier nods at me. "Well, I was thinking, and..we need to know where Zoey and Nathan stand. Are they friends, are they not friends, Does Zoey like him or not, Does she even know him? So, here." He hands me my phone. "Call her."

"What do I say?" I ask, as I take my phone from him and unlock it.

"Just have a normal conversation, don't let her know we're together. And then bring up Nathan's name casually. --Oh, and put it on speakerphone."

I nod my head in approval and dial my cousin's number, she answers on the third ring.

"Hey! What's up?" I ask, a little more cheerful than usual.

"I'm good, what's got you all happy?" She asks and although I can't see her, I can imagine her narrowing her eyes in suspicion.

"No reason, can't a girl be happy? Sheesh." I defend and glance at Xavier who motions with his hands for me to calm down. "You're gonna blow our cover." He hisses.

"--Is anyone with you?" Zoey asks slowly making both of our eyes slightly enlarge.

"Nope. Nobody!" I answer too quickly.

Xavier face palms himself and I try to calm myself down.

"Cassandra, are you okay?," Zoey asks, "You don't seem like yourself. I'm coming over."

"No!" I practically scream.
"--I mean, don't. I'm about to go out anyways."

"Where to?"
