I have been sick for the last six days, and have been forced into bed rest by my dad, Leah, Sam, my kids, and the pack. I was not enjoying this at all. Leah was my saving grace, with her bringing me the blueprints of the building, and the updates on the remodeling. The unfortunate part, no one in this house knew how to cook, so for the past six days they've been eating take out.

"How are you holding up?" Jacob? What the hell was he doing here? I tried to search for him in the dark, but couldn't quite pinpoint him. "I'm dying. What the hell are you doing here? We haven't talked to each since Isabella went to the deep end." I mumbled as I twisted my body to face up.

"Sam didn't want to worry yesterday, but I shifted last night. I was sent up here to let you know." He sat down on the bed grabbing my hand. I gripped it. "And how do you feel about shifting, and keeping it a secret? I can't imagine you being comfortable being away from Isabella while gaining control over your shift." I say as he helps me sit up, while adjusting my pillows. He chuckles.

"You always were able to read people

"You always were able to read people." He pauses, taking a deep breath, "Sam told me I'm no longer allowed to see her. That I wasn't safe for her anymore. That my duty now was to protect the reservation and the people from vampires." I rolled my eyes. "Jacob. You can see Isabella once you have better control. You're a good person, and I'm sure you'll have control in no time, but you can't tell anyone else. You have Embry to discuss this with, and maybe Quil will shift as well, but right now, you have to focus on yourself. Plus your duty is also to try to remained as normal as you can. You're still a teenager. You aren't just a 'werewolf'." I finished the last part coughing into my shirt.

"Do you want me to get Sam?" Jacob worriedly asked. I nod as he rushed out of the room. There has to be something wrong. I know it. It can't just be stressed.

I had just come back from the doctor's office, and was currently in the kitchen, making some muffins for the pack. My mind consumed with what the doctors had told me. I sipped my coffee, as I closed my eyes briefly. 'Gracias a dios, que los ninos estan con sus abuelos en California.'

My eyes snapped opened once I heard the voices of Embry and Jared. Followed by Bella's?

I walk out of the kitchen after I place the last batch of muffins into the oven.

"Well isn't this a surprise? Here I thought you forgot all about your older sister

"Well isn't this a surprise? Here I thought you forgot all about your older sister. So what brought you over to this neck of the wood? Let me guess, you obviously missed my sarcasm." I smiled sarcastically at her.

She looked at me in shocked, before fury her face shifted to one of absolute fury

She looked at me in shocked, before fury her face shifted to one of absolute fury. "You knew about werewolves all this time! You never even told me! I'm your sister!" She yelled, stepping closer and closer with each words, before raising her hand, as if to smack me. I frowned, before grabbing her wrist and hauling her closer to me. "If you're going to hit me, you better make it count, because if I get back up, it won't matter that you're my little sister, I'll make sure you won't be able to see colors right for weeks to come." I hissed in her face, before letting her go, and shoving her away from me. I turned to the boys, "I'm gonna bring the muffins out right now, once Jacob gets here, I want him to escort her back to her house. I don't want her on my property any longer than it needs to be." I turned walking into the kitchen, taking the last batch of muffins from the oven, before beginning to place all the muffins into baskets.

Lord give me strength!
