All were standing the newest addition to the maritime fleet on what was now the most nation on Earth. A brand new two-funnel ocean liner based on the design of the older SS America floated in her drydock awaiting the moment to be christened. Then, the moment came as the bottle of champagnewrapped in an American flag was swung by the wife of the Texas Senator Tom Connally, Lucille Connally, against the hull of this brand new liner, with the contents spilling onto the hull and tugboats began to pull the hull out for final fitting out. The name of this new ocean liner? SS United States. In a lab at the shipyard, workers and scientists were getting a Wisdom Cube ready for the creation a new KAN-SEN, a merchant KAN-SEN for the new liner.
Worker 1: Will this work? I know America gave some of her DNA to help in the creation of this one, but has this been done before?
Scientist 1: Our calculations have determined that America's DNA would not interfere with the new KAN-SEN's creation, but will shape her in said KAN-SEN's image with similar features.
Worker 2: But this hasn't been done before. It could even kill the KAN-SEN before she even comes alive.
Scientist 2: Even if this hasn't been done before, it is still worth testing if this could work for potential KAN-SEN twins in the future.
The scientist placed two Wisdom Cubes near to a piece of steel used in the new ship's construction and a vile with a blood sample from the merchant KAN-SEN of the already in service ocean liner SS America. While the sample was new, this has been the regular practice for the creation of KAN-SEN regardless of nationality. Since their creation following the arrival of the Sirens during the Russo-Japanese War, the concept of additional humanoid figures becoming the sole operator of a ship's mechanics allowed for a small compliment on merchant KAN-SEN and a ship devoid of crew in their naval counterparts. Having proved their in the worth during the First Siren War and showing their full potential in the one that ended nearly a decade ago, KAN-SEN were an industry standard.
Scientist 1: Right. Let it begin.
Scientist 2: Prepare for KAN-SEN creation.
Scientist 3: Safety gear on.
Worker 3: I've got a bad feeling about this.
Worker 4: You don't say?
Scientist 2: Creation process begins in 3... 2... 1... initiate. (Flips a switch, sending electricity into the bed with the two Wisdom Cubes, sample of KAN-SEN blood and steel)
As soon as the two cubes absorbed the blood and material, they began to hover above the bed as the KAN-SEN creation process had begun. Unfortunately, this wouldn't go on without a hitch as someone walked in.
America: Hey. The new girl's ship has been launched. Just coming and... (Had obviously entered at a bad time, going near the forming figure)
