As Tanishq held me close, his breath warm against my ear, I could feel the rapid beating of his heart. His panic was palpable,he had been frantically searching for me, afraid something terrible had happened. The guilt in his eyes said it all.

"I thought I lost you," he muttered under his breath, his grip tightening slightly as if he was afraid I'd vanish again.I forced a reassuring smile,.

Tanishq pulled away slightly, searching my face. "You're trembling," he said softly, brushing a stray tear off my cheek. "Are you sure you're okay?"

"Yeah, I'm fine," I lied, forcing a smile. "Just... overwhelmed, I guess. That view was... breathtaking." It wasn't entirely untrue, but my heart was still racing from my encounter with Zyron, the man whose presence had sparked an inexplicable sense of belonging in me.

Tanishq studied me for a moment longer, as if sensing there was more I wasn’t saying. But instead of pressing further, he simply nodded, taking my hand in his. "Let’s go back. It's already dark and cold .

As we descended from the Swargarohini trek, darkness slowly blanketed the sky. The sharp mountain winds and biting cold made every step feel heavier. About 40min of treking,Tanishq stopped abruptly, turning to me with a soft, concerned expression. "It's too dark to continue," he said, his voice steady but touched with worry. "Let's set up tent here. It's a safe spot, and we can start fresh early in the morning."

I nodded, grateful for the rest. The cold was creeping into my bones, making it harder to focus. We found a flat area, away from any dangerous ledges, and began setting up the tent together. The temperature continued to drop, and soon my hands were trembling as I fumbled with the poles. Tanishq noticed immediately, his eyes flickering with concern.

"You’re freezing," he muttered under his breath, his brow furrowing as he rummaged through his bag. He pulled out a warm blanket, and without hesitation, he wrapped it around me. His movements were gentle but quick, as if he had done this before, like it was second nature.

“There, better?” he asked, his eyes full of concern, scanning my face as if looking for any signs of discomfort. But it wasn’t just his words or the blanket that warmed me—it was the way his gaze lingered, as though he feared for me in a way that went beyond the cold.

Moments passed, but every time the wind picked up or a shiver ran down my spine, Tanishq would reach into his bag again, pulling out the blanket and wrapping it around me once more, like a reflex. His eyes remained fixed on me, full of a quiet worry that I couldn't ignore. It was as if he was afraid the cold might steal me away if he wasn’t careful enough.
