As I woke up, my head felt heavy from the whirlwind of thoughts spinning as usual. I followed my Saturday schedule with anticipation, excitedly waiting for the night. Finally, after finishing all my work and sat on the bed, a message pinged on my phone: *"Be ready till 8:40 PM, I'll call you,"* from Trisha. I saw it but ignored it-I was too exhausted. Taking a quick nap, I was startled awake by the sound of my phone ringing.
"Hello? Are you ready?" Trisha asked.
I shot up, scrambling to find my clothes. I threw on my navy blue oversized hoodie and paired it with loose bottoms. Hurriedly, I grabbed my spectacles, phone, and binoculars-perfect for getting a better view of the moon. Just as I was about to leave, my phone rang again.
"Nakshatra, where are you? Come fast, we're getting late," Ruhani's voice pressed through the phone.
"Yeah, just on my way! I'll be there in one minute, Ruh," I replied, already bolting out the door.
As I reached our secret spot-where no one would catch us-I saw a group of about 10 to 12 people.

Some familiar faces, some new. A hand waved to me, directing me toward the group. It was Ruhani and Trisha. Once everyone settled in, we started walking toward the jungle, our excitement mounting with each step.
We were ready for the perfect night ahead.
"Finally, a break from studying and some adventure!" Trisha grinned as we walked deeper into the jungle.
Ruhani squinted into the dark. "It's too dark. Why didn't anyone bring a flashlight? This is how horror movies start."
I smirked. "Oh, didn't you hear? This jungle is full of ghosts, waiting to pounce on people like us."
