I got up and went in Gianni 's room. I picked up him and he smiled at me.

Geneva - hi moot. How are you?

He giggled and grabbed my finger.

Kit is still asleep. Which I don't blame him for. He constantly gets up through the night with Gio and won't even let me do it. I guess since he missed a month of his life, he's trying to be there for him  as much as possible.

I gave Gio a bath and got him dressed. Kit walked in.

Kit - good morning

Gen - good morning. You want breakfast?

Kit - yeah

He took Gio from me.

Kit - wassup lil man. You hanging with mama this morning.

I love how  his eyes just light up when he sees Gianni.

Kit - what you smiling for?

Geneva - I just like how you are with him.

Kit - I have you to thank for that. I know how hard your pregnancy was , especially with me adding on stress because you were constantly worried about me and I'm sorry about that.

Geneva -  Kit you've matured and changed so we're good.

My phone rang. It was Ruiz.

I looked at Kit.

Kit - answer it

I answered it.

Ruiz - hey Dulce. How you been?

Gen - fine

Ruiz - I wanna see you

Gen - you used me

Ruiz - to make your boyfriend jealous

Kit - nigga it ain't work. She still mine.

Ruiz - she cheated

Kit - so? I understand she made a mistake, partly due to my being absent but I love her and I won't leave. Especially since I have a son to raise. Won't be raising my kid like how I was.

I hung up and smiled

Gen - are you serious?

Kit - about raising our son together ? Yes. I don't want to think I don't love him when I do. I'll show to every thing he ever has even if it's minor. Be able to celebrate all his accomplishments no matter how small.

Gen -  I'm forgiven?

Kit - yeah. I wasn't gonna hold it against you forever. Matter of fact, I had a dream last night because a baby

Gen - was it Gio?

Kit - it was a baby girl so that may be in the cards for us . Of course after marriage.

Geneva kissed me and  smiled. I couldn't stay mad at her forever because I love her way too much .

She walked out to go start breakfast and I looked down at the baby. We need a saw the night , just me and her but I don't want to bother my mom with having to take care of Gio, even though I know she doesn't mind.
