I woke up feeling , Kit breathing on me. I jumped up.

Geneva - KIT

Kit - wha-

I pulled back the covers, seeing that I had on no clothes and he was in his boxers. Please tell me I didn't cheat on Elijah last night.

Kit sat up rubbing his eyes.

Geneva - we didn't-

He smiled.

Kit - girl you was something else last night. You did  stuff to me I ain't never had done before.

Geneva -   Oh lord.

Kit - I'm joking.  We didn't have sex last night. You tried to throughout the night but I turned you down because you were drunk.

Geneva - I'm really sorry about that

Kit - you're good. That's why I don't drink like that.

I pulled the covers up on my body.

Kit's phone rang.  He answered it. I heard Elijah's voice.

Elijah - is my wife there?

Kit - yeah. Do you have some money?

Elijah -  can you tell Neva to give me the code to her safe?

Kit - no.  I struck a deal with your wife. She'll strip to pay off your debt

Elijah - fuck no. Let me speak with her?

He handed me the phone.

Elijah - baby what the fuck are you thinking?

Geneva - I wanted to help you.

Elijah - stripping ain't it  though. I don't want random niggas groping you.

Geneva -    I can handle myself

Elijah - Geneva I said no

Geneva - Elijah you're going to let me help you. I don't care that your pride is hurt. That way I can leave and go back to my bakery.

Elijah - what about us?

Geneva - you've been lying to me. You're an addict and a drug dealer.

Elijah - how do you think I afford-

Kit took the phone and hung up.

Kit -  I know you said you were cool with stripping but you look like you're having second thoughts

Geneva - I might be, but it's fine. I have to do it.

He got out of the bed and walked in the bathroom.

I looked over at Amara as she laid up under me.  I leaned into kiss her and she turned her head away from me.

Amara - get out Elijah

Elijah - didn't you enjoy last night?

Amara -  Elijah I let you in because you were upset about Geneva. I didn't plan on us getting drunk and having sex.

Elijah - Mari don't be like that. I still love you

Amara - don't you love Geneva?

Elijah - I do but you never get over your first love.

Amara - Elijah don't. Okay I know what you're doing. Get out

Elijah - alright

Amara - I don't understand how you don't feel a once of remorse for cheating on her.
