The last few days at Hogwarts were a whirlwind of laughter, nostalgia, and a hint of bittersweet sadness. It felt surreal that our time here was coming to an end, but we made the most of every moment.
One afternoon, while the girls were lounging in the common room, Alice proposed a "No-Magic Challenge." The rules were simple: no wands, just good old-fashioned creativity. We had to navigate through a series of tasks, like making the perfect cup of tea and organizing a game of charades.
"Okay, who's going to demonstrate how to brew tea without a wand?" Lily asked, eyes sparkling with mischief.
"I'll do it!" I volunteered, grabbing the kettle. The first attempt ended up in a complete disaster—tea leaves everywhere, and I managed to scorch the kettle in the process. We erupted into laughter, and even the boys, who had been eavesdropping, came in to see what the commotion was about.
Lily, Alice, and I decided to have a spa day in our dorm, using all the potion ingredients we could scrounge up. We whipped up some makeshift face masks and giggled as we applied them. "Do we look like trolls or what?" Alice cackled, her mask dripping slightly.
"Oh, please! We look fabulous," Lily replied, striking a pose. We ended the day with a movie marathon in our pajamas, feeling relaxed and carefree. It was a much-needed break from all the end-of-year stress.
Of course, no farewell would be complete without a classic prank from James and Sirius. They hatched a plan to cover the entire entrance to the Great Hall with enchanted confetti that would explode on contact with anyone who tried to walk through. The sight of Professor McGonagall getting showered in glitter was something I would remember forever.
"Sorry, Professor!" James yelled, laughing as she glared at him. "It's just a little sparkly surprise!"
"Detention, Potter!" she shot back, though even she couldn't hide a slight smirk.
As we sat in our last Transfiguration class, Professor McGonagall announced, "This will be your final lesson here at Hogwarts, and I expect nothing less than perfection."
Sirius leaned over to me and whispered, "You think we'll actually remember any of this once we're out in the real world?"
"Not if you keep distracting me!" I teased, earning a light shove from him.
After class, we snuck into an empty classroom, giggling as we sealed the door with a quick spell. "I can't believe this is our last week," I said, pulling him close for a kiss.
"Let's make it memorable," he replied, kissing me back, his hands resting on my waist as if anchoring me to this moment.
We made a habit of finding little corners of the castle to steal kisses between classes. One time, we ducked into the Astronomy Tower, looking out at the grounds. "It's hard to believe we won't be here anymore," I said, leaning against the railing.
"Or sneaking around like this," Sirius said with a grin, leaning in for another kiss. The sun setting over the Forbidden Forest cast a golden light, and it felt magical.
The days flew by, filled with pranks, laughter, and heartfelt goodbyes. We spent time reminiscing about our favorite moments, each one feeling more precious than the last.
As the final day approached, I realized just how much I would miss Hogwarts, but I also felt an excitement bubbling up for the future. With Sirius by my side, I knew whatever came next would be an adventure worth sharing.

As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm glow over Hogwarts, the Great Hall buzzed with anticipation for the final feast of the year. The long tables were adorned with an array of delicious food—roast meats, fresh bread, and an assortment of desserts that made my mouth water. But beneath the excitement lay an undercurrent of bittersweet nostalgia; we were all acutely aware that this was our last meal as Hogwarts students.
