As the new school year began at Hogwarts, the atmosphere around the Ministry was electric with anxiety. Aurors buzzed with urgency, preparing for the hunt for Sirius. My heart felt heavy with each passing day, knowing that I was pretending to join in the search for someone I cared about deeply. The very thought of it made my stomach twist.

The day before I was set to leave for Hogsmeade, I returned to my office after a long briefing with other Aurors. My mind was clouded with worry as I sorted through paperwork, trying to focus on anything other than the mission ahead. Just as I settled in, my owl returned, carrying a letter from Remus.

My heart raced as I unrolled the parchment, the familiar scrawl bringing an immediate sense of comfort.

Dear Grace,

I hope this letter finds you in good spirits, though I know that may be asking a lot. I have some news that may bring you a glimmer of joy. I've found Harry.  He's so much like James—his sense of humor, the way he carries himself—but he has Lily's eyes. I can't help but think of you, Grace. You should have the chance to meet him, if only for his sake.

I know the resemblance may be overwhelming, but remember that he carries both of their legacies within him. This could be a chance for you to honor their memory while also connecting with the next generation. You deserve this, and so does Harry.

Please consider it. I know it won't be easy, but I believe it would mean a great deal to both of you.

Take care of yourself,

Yours always,

Remus

As I finished reading, emotions surged within me. I felt a mix of fear, sadness, and an unexpected flutter of hope. Harry—the child I had longed to meet but had kept my distance from due to the overwhelming resemblance to James and Lily.

Remus's words resonated deeply; he was right. This was a chance not just to honor my brother and his wife but also to be a part of Harry's life in whatever small way I could. The thought of meeting my nephew filled me with a bittersweet longing. I had to overcome my fears.

I sat back in my chair, contemplating the gravity of the decision before me. I could not let my fears dictate my actions any longer. Harry was family, and he deserved to know his aunt, to have a connection to those who loved him.

The next morning, I prepared to leave for Hogsmeade, but my thoughts kept drifting back to Harry. I resolved to speak with Remus once I arrived at the station. I needed to share my decision with him, to assure him that I would meet Harry, no matter how daunting it felt.

As I stepped out of the Ministry and into the bustling streets, the urgency of my mission loomed over me. Yet, amidst the chaos, there was a flicker of hope. I had a chance to forge a new connection, to reclaim a piece of my heart that had been lost to grief.

Determined, I made my way to Hogsmeade, ready to confront my fears and step into a new chapter of my life.

As I arrived at my station in Hogsmeade, the familiar chill of the crisp autumn air sent a shiver down my spine. I stepped into the bustling village, its charm providing a sharp contrast to the turmoil swirling within me. The quaint shops and laughter of students filled the streets, but my mind was focused solely on Remus and the task ahead.

I spotted him near the Three Broomsticks, a warm smile breaking across his face as I approached. His presence was a comfort, grounding me amidst the chaos.

"Grace," he said, pulling me into a brief but heartfelt embrace. "I'm so glad you're here."

"Thanks for meeting me, Remus. I've been thinking a lot about Harry," I replied, my heart racing with both excitement and trepidation. "What's he like?"
