CHAPTER 11

_FLASHBACK ON_

I used to be a cheerful child like most children. I had an older sister who was very close to me. Until that incident happened and traumatized my life.

At that time, when I came home late at night. My father was a strict and rude person, he immediately slapped and hit me. That had become my daily food.

Until the next day my sister came home crying. My sister explained what made my father very angry and immediately hit her. My father even dragged my sister who was screaming and wincing in pain. Even my mother just watched as if watching a show.

Until my father's anger caused my sister to die. My father threw my sister's body in the river. That day was my biggest trauma, my sister who I loved the most and who always helped me, died at the hands of my own father.

Even the next day my father and mother behaved as if nothing had happened. That trauma made me want to take revenge on my parents.

At that time I was admitted to a mental hospital because my parents were very cunning. Until I managed to get out of the mental hospital. I went straight to my parents' house and killed them there. Because of that incident I had to move cities and change my identity.

I became quiet and withdrawn. It was not easy for me to adapt to my new environment, I was often bullied and teased. It made me depressed and wanted revenge. Abusing and torturing people has become my habit.

The police came and evacuated the victims and Casey. Casey was arrested and sentenced to life in prison.

_1 YEAR LATER_

Graduation day arrived, all the 3rd grade students celebrated the day. The eight girls gathered in the school garden.

"time flies so fast" said Rexana

"yeah it's not easy to go through all this" said Alexa remembering the incident

"let bygones be bygones, whatever happens I will miss you all" said Laurelia

"hopefully in the future this friendship will continue until we are old" said Rexana

Friendship sometimes teaches us valuable lessons. Close friends can even betray and stab us in the back. "people come and go" teaches us that people will not always stay with us.
