CHAPTER 10

The bullet missed the wall. Alexa managed to dodge it. Rexana, who was on the 1st floor, heard the gunshot. Then she immediately followed to the 3rd floor.

"Why are you guys fighting?!!" Rexana said a little surprised

"Alexa is the mastermind behind all this!" Casey said

"No, not me!" Alexa denied

Casey, who realized that Rexana did not know who the mastermind behind all this was, tried to set them against each other. Rexana was confused about who to believe.

Alexa took advantage of the situation to grab the gun from Casey's hand. However, the gun fell towards Rexana. Rexana quickly took the gun and pointed it at them.

"Don't move or I'll shoot you all," she said while holding the gun with trembling hands

With the tense situation, Casey immediately pointed the knife at Alexa's neck in a threatening position.

"Give me the gun! If not, I'll slit her throat," Casey threatened Rexana

Rexana became afraid and hesitant with the threat. If she gave the gun then they would both die, but if not Casey would slit Alexa's throat.

"_what should I do_" Rexana thought

Rexana remembered what Alexa said at that time.

"what if one day, we get kidnapped?" Alexa asked Rexana

"that won't happen, besides who would kidnap you" Rexana replied jokingly

"come on, it would be fun if we get kidnapped and fight the kidnapper" Alexa said enthusiastically

"if one day we get kidnapped, let's use the code I taught you at that time" Alexa added

Rexana just nodded in agreement, because she thought Alexa's idea was very ridiculous

Rexana then lowered the direction of the gun, and walked forward wanting to hand the gun to Casey. Rexana coded Alexa by pointing her index finger to the left. Alexa who saw the code, immediately let go to the right. Casey was surprised by that. Before he could threaten her, the bullet quickly missed Casey's stomach.

Seeing an opportunity to run, Rexana and Alexa rushed out of the building.

"Get out of here Alexa!" shouted Rexana

Casey groaned in pain from being shot. He fell and gradually became unconscious.
