Not long after the annual meeting was over, Spring Festival arrived.

Before the festival, Lisa accompanied Jennie back to her hometown to pay respects to several of the Kim's elders. They stayed there for two nights, then rushed back to the capital city to spend New Year's Eve at the Manoban family courtyard house.

During the reunion dinner, Old Master Manoban smilingly asked the young couple, "When are you planning to have a child?"

The old master's question was natural, but Jennie blushed and lowered her head to eat dumplings, pretending not to hear.

Lisa coughed and said to Jennie, "We're getting married in June. We should have good news this year."

Old Master Manoban understood - his grandson planned to have a child after the wedding banquet. Dissatisfied, he held up his fingers to calculate for the young couple: "Many people get pregnant first and then hold the wedding feast. You two can prepare starting in April. Jennie will only be two or three months along at the wedding, it won't affect wearing the wedding dress."

The old master was eager to hold his great-grandchild after the New Year.

Jennie was too shy to reject her elder's wishes. She hoped Lisa would explain that she still had to prepare for her graduation defense, but instead, Lisa just smiled without saying anything, seeming to agree with the old master. Jennie started to panic. That night when Lisa pressed down on her, she pushed against his shoulders and asked, "You don't really want to try in April, right?"

Without using protection?

Lisa wasn't in that much of a hurry. He grasped her hand and raised it above her head, lowering his head to kiss her. "We'll talk about the honeymoon later."

Jennie breathed a sigh of relief.

Lisa chuckled to himself. The old master's plan was too rushed. He wanted Jennie to happily prepare for the wedding. Getting pregnant early would make Jennie worried about the child while busy with graduation. He couldn't bear to do that to her.

After New Year's, school started up again. For graduating fifth-year students, the next half year flew by faster than flowing water.

In the blink of an eye, the school notifications came telling graduates to leave campus on time...

How heartless.

Jennie and her three roommates all successfully passed their graduation defenses.

Chaeng and Seulgi had already found jobs. Beautiful rich girl Irene planned to travel abroad and find work after she returned. On the last night before leaving campus, the four women went out for a big meal then returned to the dormitory to fantasize about life after school.

"Jennie is the biggest winner - graduating and immediately marrying into a wealthy family. We commoners are so envious!" Chaeng hugged Jennie and shouted, "Oh right, are you still going to work at the hospital before the wedding?"

Jennie shook her head. "There's still a lot to do before the wedding. I told the hospital I'd start working in August."

"You're so silly. Chairman Manoban is so rich, what do you need to work for? Just stay home and be a wealthy madam!" Irene looked at Jennie like she was an alien.

Jennie just smiled. Being idle every day would be so boring, she still needed something to do.

"Let us know when you try on your wedding dress. Remember to send pics!" Seulgi said longingly.

Jennie nodded. If she wasn't going abroad to try on gowns, she would definitely invite her roommates to accompany her.

Chatting about Jennie's wedding and their hopes for work and love, it wasn't until after one in the morning that the four finally went to bed with dry mouths and tongues.

The next day, Chaeng was the first to leave campus. Seulgi and Irene had also just about finished moving all their things out. Jennie saw each of her roommates off, then waited in the empty dorm room for Lisa. Unable to settle her heart, looking around the dorm she had lived in for a full five years, Jennie suddenly felt a rush of nostalgia.

Someone knocked on the door.

Jennie couldn't help but smile. She went to the door and softly asked, "Who is it?"

"Your husband," came the low, attractive male voice from outside.

Jenni sweetly opened the dorm door a crack.

Lisa eagerly squeezed inside from the opening to hug Jennie against the door, leaning down to kiss her.

Five years - he had waited five full years.

Five years ago, he had personally brought Jennie to move into this dorm. Now, he could finally take her out to live with him forever, as the madamme of all his properties.

"All packed up?"

"Mm."

"Good, let's go home now."
