[GLISTEN]

I haven't gotten out of bed for like 5 days. My thoughts have been trailing all over the place after Rodger came to check up on me and help me out with my little accident. He has been coming to check up on me daily, clean my wounds and change the gauze. This really has been strengthening the love I feel for him. After his question I have been thinking about the options.
Rodger really wants a kid with me, but I don't know. I asked Dandy and he did confirm we could, but he has been acting so weird and off this entire week I don't think I can trust him.

I asked the other toons if they have seen anything weird about Dandy lately. They only responded with "he has been asking alot about you!" and this definetly confirmed my suspicions against him. I am now walking over to Rodger's room. I have been studying the layout of Gardenview and I can somewhat memorize where his room was.
I knocked onto the door and Rodger immediatly responded with "Come in!" making me step inside.
His eyes widened but he smiled when he saw me.
"How are you Glisten?" He asked, tidying up his room.

I looked around, seeing Toodles sitting on Rodgers bed just staring at me.
"Hey.." I awkwardly said, waving at Toodles.
"Don't mind her. She has had a rough week after Teagan refused to play barbies with her." Rodger smiled while dusting the places.
"Aww you poor thing!" I kneeled down infront of Toodles. Her expression switched and she started sobbing so I just picked her up and comforted her.
"Will you play barbies with me?" She asked. I looked at Rodger that just nodded.
"Of course!" I smiled, Toodles' expression lighting up. Rodger giggled and took out two boxes of barbies that he had in his room for Toodles. I sat her down and opened the boxes, taking out a few barbies, handing the other one to her. She took it and we began playing house, I being the Mother and she being the daughter.
Rodger looked at us and just smiled, his expression changing once he looked away. I didn't pay much attention to it and just continued playing with her.

"But Mother I really wanted to go to this party!" She moved the Barbie around and I giggled.
"No Darling. It is too dangerous!" I did the same. Rodger was giggling in the background.

🪞

We cleaned the barbies to the boxes and I got up, looking at Rodger that was approaching me. I smiled at him as he wrapped his hands around my waist. Toodles was staring at us.
"Are you and dad in love?" She asked. I giggled and nodded.
"We very much are." Rodger smiled and kissed my cheek. Toodles let out her tongue as a way of expressing disgust. I giggled.
"Ewie!" She shook her head. I smiled and Rodger kissed my cheek more.
"Hey baby I have to go, but I'll see you later today!" I smiled and got up, leaving the room. Rodger waved at me.

I made my way to the lobby where Tisha and Teagan were both already waiting for me. I sat down next to them.
"Hey girly! Saw you came out of Rodgers room! You two getting serious?~" Teagan teased. I smiled.
"Yeah. We are official, and he already asked to reproduce-" I giggled.
"WHAT? Hes moving that fast?" Teagan asked, her expression seriously changing. I looked at her.
"What? Is it bad?"
"No- It's just that he didnt ask to get Toodles before we were married. Hes moving super fast with you." she seemed jealous.
Tisha tilted her head.
"You jealous girly?" She asked.
"No! I uh- Of course not!" Teagan mumbled.
"You so are. It's not my fault Rodger is officially gay." I giggled, Tisha joining my laughter. Teagan looked annoyed and just got up, leaving us.
"Do you think we went too far?" I asked, Tisha turning to look at me.
"No. She has been missing Rodger for a while now. It's why she refused to play with Toodles." Tisha explained. I looked at her, dumbfounded.
"Toodles was super sad about it." I crossed my hands, annoyed.

"Yeah but theres nothing we can do. Teagan is getting more worse by the hour. I found her blacked out in her room the other day. She overdrank herself near death." Tisha looked away.
"Oh my god thats horrible!" I placed my hand on her shoulder. She smiled at me gently.
"It's okay. Shes going through it I guess." Tisha pushed my hand away after a while.
"Yeah but if she is neglecting her daughter for it, she cannot continue that lifestyle." I explained, Tisha nodding the entire time.
"Yeah, But I don't know what to do about it!" Tisha whined.
"Come to me if this repeats. I'll help you." I smiled.  Tisha hugged me so tightly.
"Thank you omg Glisten you just saved my sanity!" She hugged me tighter. I just patted her back and pulled away.

🪞

I fell to my bed, staring at the ceiling. This entire week has been long. Not only do I have to come up with a response to Dandy's little "meeting" but I also have to help Tisha with Teagans problems, and ontop of all of this, date Rodger and keep him satisfied in the bedroom.. Agh I'm gonna overwork myself!
I was fidgeting with the gauzes I had around my wrists, thinking about him. How does he not hate me after I ignored him for 3 days straight? How could he love me? Ahh I hate myself.
I covered my face with a pillow for 15 seconds before I threw it across the room. Right then I heard a knock on my door.
Who wanted me at 10pm?
"Come in.." I mumbled. The door opened and it was Rodger. I sat up.
"Hey-" I smiled, my eyes meeting his.
"Hey. Do you mind if I stayed here for a couple of nights?" He asked.
"No of course not! Your welcome here anytime."

I made some space for him and he crawled to the bed right next to me, his hands wrapping around my waist as he snuggled against my neck. I smiled and closed my eyes, letting myself fall asleep..
