[RODGER]

Life in Gardenview. Gosh how do I even start imagining life in gardenview.
Well I've been living here my entire life, and I was created here. I have my friends and family here, I have a daughter and a boyfriend. Can life get any better? Or any worse..
My ex wife has been abusive towards my daughter for a couple months now. My boyfriend, Glisten, had tried talking about it to Teagan with his friend Tisha, with no luck. What we got from that, is a broken friendship between Glisten and Tisha, and a crazy drunk mother who will do anything to hurt her daughter even more than she already has..

These were all the thoughts in my head as I laid down to my bed, closing my eyes and listening to my surroundings.
Glisten took my daughter Toodles out for a nature walk so she could relax and take a break from all the pain she has been through. I really love my boyfriend, and he caring about my daughter though she isn't biologically his, is adorable. Glisten taking care of Toodles as if one of his own will forever help grow the love I feel for him.

I took a deep breath and opened my eyes, looking around my room. It was a mess. I hadn't had any time to clean it lately, due to babysitting Toodles and hanging out with Glisten. Today I took it as a responsibility to clean it.
I got up and looked around my messy room, picking up the dirty laundry and putting them to the basket, gathering all the garbage, putting them in the bin, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning the tables ect.
After this I took my laundry to the washing machines, loading it up, pouring laundry detergent, turning it on and heading back to my room.

I then gathered all the bags filled with trash and took them out. After that I went back in and continued vacuuming, changing the bedsheets out, changing fresh ones and taking the dirty ones to laundry. Once again I walked back to my room and continued dusting, making sure everything was in order and then sprayed some vanilla scent to my room so that it would smell better.
I lit a caramel scented candle and turned on my ledlights, making them a beautiful golden brown color.
I looked around my room and smiled, since now everything was clean and my room smelt nice.

Glisten knocked onto my door and I went ahead and opened it for him. He rushed and hugged me tightly, which I then hugged him back. He smiled.

"Did you and Toodles have a fun day outside? Y'all were gone for quite a while." I asked, smiling at him. He met my gaze and just giggled.

"Yeah! It was relaxing and very refreshing to get out of Gardenview for a while! Toodles on the other hand seemed to really like it! She was hopping around from place to place, naming out all kinds of trees and plants around her. It was funny to see her all excited!" he was fantazising, Me just listening in on his talks.

"Seems you two had a fun day!" I smiled and took his hand, walking inside of my room. Glisten looked around and his eyes glued onto the candle I lighted earlier.

"Is that the limited edition Caramel scented candle from the nearby store that is almost always sold out?" he named the exact candle by memory. I was somewhat impressed!

"Yeah how so? Do you like it?" I smiled and paid attention to his facial expressions. He was rather excited.

"Yes!! That's my favorite candle! Too bad I couldn't get my hands on it any sooner. It was sold out again. How did you know I loved this one?" He was practically jumping in his seat.

"A lucky guess I guess?" I chuckled as Glisten rushed to the candle, examining it and breathing in it's deep aroma. I just backed away and sat down to my bed. Glisten was too busy inhaling and exhaling the scent to even realize my entire room was sparkly clean.

I made my way to Toodles' room, knocking onto the door. She opened it slowly but smiled when she realized it was just me.

"Oh hey dad! Come on in!" She opened the door wider and let me in. I stepped inside and took a comfortable manspread on Toodles' chair.

"What can I do for you father?" She fixed up her dress and turned her gaze to me, tilting her head slightly to the left.

"You and Glisten went out to a walk, correct?" I asked her. Her expression lit up and she smiled widely.

"Yeah! Oh my god it was so fun! There were so many plants and trees I never knew existed! Papa was looking after me the entire time and I for the first time in a long while felt relatively safe and calm!" Toodles explained. I listened in on her story.

"Good that you feel more relaxed now. However, I have a task for you to complete.." I crossed my fingers ontop of my leg and gave her a gentle but demanding look. She nodded.

"Right of course, what can I do for you father? Do I perhaps need to get you coffee, snacks, food, ect.?" She asked, looking at me with a rather confused look. I just smiled and shook my head.

"Not quite what I mean but sure, let's word it that way.. I need you to find a way into Teagan's room from the outside, sneak in and steal her diary. Its the large golden painted book in her bookshelf. Take it and bring it back to me.." I explained the mission to her and she listened.

"But what if I get caught.?" She looked around the room, nervously chuckling.

"If you do everything correctly, you don't have anything to worry about at the subject of getting caught, you understand that right?" I gave her a gaze and she nervously nodded.

"Right of course dad! How much time do I have.?" she asked, nervously fidgeting with the edge of her dress.

"Come back two days from now at 5pm in the afternoon. Make sure you have the book secured with you and bring it to father, got it?" I explained. She nodded and immediatly left to go take care of the task I gave her. I just got up and headed back to my room..
