prisoners angst, yay

A/N: here, have some angst :3 (I'm turning into a femboy)

______.

Alex woke up in searing pain, and confined in a cell, Alone. He didn't know what had happened as he was sleeping, atleast until the explosions which knocked him unconscious on the floor.

Rising up from the steel slab, that was apparently supposed to be a bed, was harder than expected. There was a tray of pea slop and oddly coloured water in a glass. He didn't hesitate to drink and eat something, hungry decisions are easy.

Alex noticed his concerning lack of clothes concerningly late. It was now evident that he was aboard a super-dreadnought.

A scientist looking fellow checked him for injuries as two guards stood by. Their emotionless stare trough the vision glass was soul piercing. Their bayonets were shining in the bright lights of the cell, sharp and ready to cut into soft flesh.

"how many did you lose on the surface?" Alex questioned.

"that's classified information of the imperium, it doesn't belong to the likes of you" the doctor stated blankly, spinning Alex around and running his cold fingers over his spine.

"ok" Alex answered, not like he had expected any other responses to his question.

The checkup was incredibly short, so there probably was more prisoners than just Alex. Maybe even his boy-/girlfriend was alive. That thought gave some weak hope for the half naked teen sitting his cell.

The lights died down peacefully, bringing darkness to fall in the cold steel room. Alex drifted off into restless sleep, which was filled with nightmares.

_____.

it couldn't have been an hour from when he finally fell asleep when Alex heard the door of the cell opening. a guard set down a tray of food and drinking water on the ground. The door clanked shut, and the lights flickered on.

A feeling of despair set in with the still and silent air.

"Max is probably dead, probably was all along, there isn't any chance for her to be alive, what if it was like that?, it must be like that, because of that I don't have any reason to live, I should die, I deserve to die, I need to do it..." Alex told to himself, picking up the water glass. He looked at it and threw it at the ground. The sharp shards scattered on the floor, and he picked one up, bringing the jagged edge to cut his smooth skin on his wrist.

The blood trickling down his forearms was dark, and calming. He started to move the glass shard closer to his throat. Someone opened the door, but Alex didn't give a shit, he pulled the sharp edge across his soft skin again.

Everything in his vision blurred from the tears, and started to fade to black as someone picked him up from the floor. Then he felt reality fade away, into the distance...
