Chapter 1: A Dream from Afar

The soft glow of the setting sun filtered through the curtains of Alli's room, casting a golden hue on the posters lining the walls. Each image featured the same smiling face: Zildjian Thomas Montenegro, the idol who had captured Alli's heart from the very first moment he saw him on stage.

Alli traced the edge of a photo, his thoughts drifting to what life would be like if he could just meet Zilgjian in person. Just once, he thought, staring up at the ceiling. "Kahit isang beses lang, gusto ko siyang makita in person," he whispered, hugging his pillow tightly.

Living in the quiet countryside, far from the glimmering lights of Manila, Alli's chances of meeting Zildjian felt like a distant dream. While his friends went to concerts and fan events, he stayed behind, watching videos on his phone, keeping up with every update about his idol.

Every time Zildjian posted on social media, Alli's heart fluttered with excitement. But it wasn't enough. He needed more. He needed to see him up close — to feel the thrill of standing in the same space as Zildjian, even if only for a fleeting moment.

One day, while scrolling through yet another fan update, an idea sparked in his mind. Manila. If he could convince his parents to let him move to the city for college, maybe, just maybe, fate would finally give him a chance.

Alli: Mom Dad can I ask a favor po?

Dad: What is it baby? Pwede mo sabihin sa amin.

Mom: Love sure we're happy to grant you a favor lalo na't magaganda ang mga grades mo.

Alli: Ano po kasi... gusto ko po sana mag-aral sa Manila. Miss ko na rin po kasi yung best friend ko.

Mom: Oh si Uno ba? How is he anak? Di ko na siya gaano nakakachat I think he's too busy sa school.

Alli: Yes Mom busy po siya lalo na since he's taking BS Industrial Engineering sa Stanford Academy.

Dad: Gusto mo ba baby na i-transfer ka namin ni Mommy mo dun? Para maging schoolmate kayo ni Uno?

Alli: Yes Dad pleaseeeeee! Please Mom can you transfer me po sa school ni Uno so we can hang out together? I really miss him so much po.

Mom: Well okay for me, love.

Dad: Yeah sure baby for you to be happy.

Alli: Yehey! Thanks Mom and Dad! I love you both so much!

Dad: We love you so much baby.

Mom: I love you too, love always remember na love na love namin kayo ng kuya Mingyu mo, ni Daddy mo, no matter what happens.

Alli: I know Mom! Kaya nga pinayagan niyo si Kuya na makuha yung dream niya to be a manager hehehe.

Mom and Dad kiss my two cheeks, and then I gave them a hug and kisses too. I'm so happy to be born and be their child.
