Jungkook's POV

As I stood by the window, watching the rain pour outside, something about this place felt familiar. The peacefulness, the way the rain tapped gently on the glass-it reminded me of something I couldn't quite put my finger on. But then it hit me, like a sudden rush of déjà vu.

Three days ago, I had been in my villa, restless and wanting to escape the overwhelming city buzz. The night had been silent, the rain soft but steady, much like today. I had sat by my window, staring out at the quiet streets, my thoughts heavy with everything going on in my life.

And then... I saw her.

Across the building which was four buildings away from my villa , a girl was dancing in her living room I guess. She seemed so free, so alive, her movements uninhibited as if she were in her own little world. I remember staring at her, mesmerized. There was something so pure about the way she moved, completely unbothered by anything around her.

I had smiled to myself, watching as she twirled around her living room, her laughter faint but audible through the open window because of the absolute silence in the neighbourhood. Was such a simple moment, yet it lifted something inside me, pulling me out of my own worries, if only for a while.

Curiosity had gotten the better of me, and I had taken out my phone, zooming in with the camera, trying to capture the moment. But the reflections on the glass blurred her face a bit but memorable yet not memorable, leaving me with nothing but the impression of her carefree spirit. Before I knew it, my phone had rung, interrupting the moment. Taehyung had called, reminding me of a meeting at the company, and I took my keys and went to my car , jumped to the driver's seat and left, As i said myself " she made my day , who are you?, but the memory of her had stayed with me.

And then, it clicked.

She was the girl. The one I had seen from my villa, dancing carefree in her living room a few nights ago. My heart thumped a little harder as the realization sank in. I hadn't expected to meet her, let alone like this, offering me shelter on a rainy day.

A small chuckle escaped my lips, almost involuntarily. It all made sense now-why she felt so familiar, why I was drawn to her in a way I couldn't explain.

"No wonder my heart trusted her," I whispered to myself, glancing back at her as she prepared the food. "She's even more beautiful up close than in the reflection."

YN POV

After setting the table, I glanced at Jungkook, who was still gazing out of the window, lost in thought. The soft patter of rain against the glass seemed to reflect his mood. I smiled to myself before speaking.

"Jungkook-ah," I called gently, breaking the silence. "The food's ready,Come eat"

He turned his head slightly, as if pulled from his thoughts, then slowly walked toward the table. His expression was a mixture of curiosity and surprise..

As he sat down, I couldn't help but tease him a little. "Don't worry, I didn't poison it or anything," I said with a small grin.

Jungkook let out a soft chuckle, shaking his head. "It's not that," he replied, his voice low. "I've just already disturbed you enough."

"You haven't disturbed me at all," I insisted, waving off his concern. "Besides, what kind of person would I be if I let you go out in the rain, hungry?" I pushed the bowl of Naengmyeon toward him, smiling. "Come on, try it. I bought it because it's perfect for a rainy day , I mean i was craving for it.. "

Jungkook looked down at the food, hesitating for a moment before picking up his chopsticks. "You really didn't have to go through this trouble... but thank you."

I gave him a reassuring smile. "It's no trouble. Sharing food is always better, right? Makes it taste even better."

As he took his first bite, I watched him closely. His eyes widened a little in surprise, and he nodded approvingly. "It's really good." He said looking at me with his doe eyes ....

"I told you!" I said, grinning. "You doubted me?"

He smiled back, the atmosphere between we both is now lighter. "No, not at all. It's just... you're really kind, offering food and shelter to a stranger like this."

I shrugged. "I've always believed in helping people when I can. Besides, you're not just any stranger, are you, Jungkook-ah?"

He chuckled softly at that, shaking his head in disbelief. "You're really something else, you know?"
