Jungkook's POV

After lunch with my parents, I got back to my villa and had a quick shower, I changed into a casual but neat outfit, wanting to look my best without overdoing it.

I grabbed my phone and sent YN a message: "I'm on my way. See you soon." She responded almost immediately with, "Can't wait. Mom's already preparing dinner. She's excited to see you."

After a short walk , I arrived at YN’s apartment.I knocked on the door, and when YN opened it, her smile immediately put me at ease.

“You look great,” she said, her eyes twinkling with warmth.

“Thanks,” I replied, giving her a quick hug. “Are you ready for this?”

She nodded, though I could see a hint of nerves in her smile. “Yeah, I think so. Mom’s excited, but you know, it’s a big conversation.”

We walked inside, and I was greeted by the comforting smell of her mom’s cooking. The warmth of her home made me feel relaxed, and it felt right—like a place I could imagine being a part of.

“Good evening, Mom"  I greeted YN’s mom with a polite bow as I entered.

“Jungkook, good to see you again!” she said warmly, waving me in. “Come, sit. Dinner’s almost ready, but we can talk while it’s cooking.”

I took a seat, and she joined us at the table. Her mom was kind but had a serious look in her eyes, the kind that only a parent has when it comes to their child.

“So, Jungkook, YN tells me you two are serious,” her mom said, cutting straight to the point. “You’ve been together for a while now, right?”

I nodded, feeling the weight of the moment. “Yes, ma’am. We’ve been through a lot together, and I care about her deeply.”

She smiled at that, but her tone remained careful. “And now, you want to talk about the future.Marriage! ”

I took a deep breath and looked at YN before turning back to her mother. “Yes, I do. I’ve thought a lot about this, and I know what YN means to me. I want to spend my life with her, and I’d like to have your blessing.”

There was a pause as her mom took in my words, glancing between me and YN.

“You know,” her mom said softly, “I’m not surprised. I knew from the way she talked about you that you were someone special. But this... marriage is a big step.”

“I understand,” I said quickly. “And I’m not rushing anything. I want to do things the right way, for YN and for her family. That’s why I wanted to talk to you mom .”

Her mom nodded thoughtfully, then leaned back with a softer expression. “You know, Jungkook, I trust YN’s judgment. She’s a smart girl, and if she believes in you, then I’ll believe in you too. But I just want to make sure she’ll be taken care of.”

I smiled, feeling a wave of relief. “I promise, I’ll do everything to make sure she’s happy.”

Just then, YN’s mom smiled, the tension easing a bit. “Well, let’s see where this goes. For now, let’s enjoy dinner together, alright?”

Later that night, after dinner, I left feeling hopeful. The conversation had gone well, and now, the next step would be to plan our future—one that included YN, with both of our families supporting us.

As I drove back to my villa, my phone buzzed with a call from my mom. I answered, knowing she was waiting for an update.

“Hey, mom,” I said.

“How did it go?” she asked, her voice full of curiosity.

“It went well,” I replied, smiling to myself. “We talked about marriage, and it looks like everything’s on track. I’ll keep you posted, but I think this is really happening.”

“That’s great, son,” my mom said, sounding genuinely happy for me. “I knew YN was the right one for you. Now, just make sure to handle everything with care.”

“I will, Mom,” I said, feeling even more confident as the night went on.
