YN's POV
A few months after our families had met, things between Jungkook and me had only grown stronger. On my birthday, he surprised me in the most unforgettable way. We were at his place, just the two of us, surrounded by soft candlelight and twinkling lights. The atmosphere felt magical, and then it happened-he got down on one knee, holding a small velvet box in his hand.
His voice was soft but steady as he said, "Be mine," the same words echoing in the background from Jimin's song "Be Mine" playing quietly. My heart raced as I looked into his eyes, the sincerity and love in his gaze overwhelming me. Without a second thought, I extended my hand, and he slipped the ring onto my finger.
The moment felt surreal. We hugged tightly, and I could feel him pulling me closer, his arms around my waist, his fingers gently caressing my hip. His breath was warm as he leaned in and whispered against my ear, "You're mine now, babe."
I shivered at his words, my heart swelling with emotion, and before I knew it, our lips met in a passionate kiss. It was deep, intense, filled with everything we had felt for each other over the past few years. Before long, I found myself on his lap, my legs wrapped around his waist as we kissed, the world around us fading into nothing.
But then, I hushed him softly, placing a hand on his chest. "Babe, let's wait. We'll be married soon enough," I said with a playful smile before I jumped up, teasing him.
He chased after me, laughing, and soon we were running around his apartment like kids, the tension dissolving into pure joy. We were happy, carefree, and completely in love.
As the days went by, our lives became a whirlwind of wedding preparations and balancing our careers. It wasn't always easy, but knowing that we were doing it together made everything worth it. Every small detail was filled with excitement, from choosing the flowers to sending out invitations-it all felt like the beginning of something truly beautiful.
And then, the day finally arrived. Our wedding day.
Jungkook’s POV:
The day had come. I stood in front of the mirror, adjusting my black tuxedo. It was sharp and clean, with just enough detail to make it stand out. My heart pounded, knowing that YN was just moments away from walking down the aisle. The venue was bathed in white roses and lilies, filling the air with a soft, sweet fragrance. Banners sent by ARMYs hung along the walls, their love and support felt everywhere, with gifts piled in the corner.
The members were there, except Jin and Suga, who stood off to the side being teased by the others. Jimin smirked, “Still alone, hyungs?, search your princess atleast here ... "
I smiled, turning to my parents and elder brother. My dad squeezed my shoulder. "She’s a wonderful girl, son. You’ve made a great choice." My mom wiped her tears, already emotional. I tried to focus, but my mind was on YN. How would she look in her dress? I knew she'd be stunning.
YN’s POV:
I stood in front of the mirror, taking in the sight of my dress. The delicate lace, the way it flowed around me—it was perfect. The subtle shimmer on the bodice made me feel like I was glowing. My mom stood beside me, her eyes full of pride, while my elder brothers flanked her in their suits, and my younger brother, as usual, pretended to be indifferent but was clearly emotional.
Emma, my best friend, stood by the door in her soft lilac dress. “YN, you’re a vision,” she said, smiling warmly. "Jungkook is going to lose it when he sees you."
The venue was magical—As the doors opened, I took a deep breath. There he was—Jungkook, standing at the altar, looking incredibly handsome in his tux. His eyes met mine, and for a moment, the world faded.
When I reached him, he whispered, “You’re more beautiful than I could have imagined.”
I chuckled softly, whispering back, “You’re not too bad yourself.”
The ceremony was filled with laughter and warmth. Jungkook’s members made sure to tease him during every chance they got. Jimin nudged him as we exchanged vows, and V gave me a playful wink. My brothers joined in, making jokes with Emma at their side, but everyone felt the weight of the moment.
When Jungkook said his vows, I could hear the emotion in his voice. "YN, you’ve been my light, my home. I promise to love you fiercely, always."
I smiled through the tears. "And I promise to love you with everything I am, to stand by you in every moment."
As we exchanged vows, the room burst into cheers. My mom wiped her tears, my brothers clapped, and Emma gave me a knowing smile. Jungkook’s parents and elder brother stood nearby, looking proud.
Jungkook’s POV:
After the ceremony, we all gathered for dinner. YN’s mom had prepared a beautiful feast, and her brothers sat around joking with me. Even my own family was enjoying the chaos. YN and I stole a moment alone, and I whispered, “You’re my wife now. Can you believe it?”
She smiled, resting her head on my shoulder. “We’ve come so far.”
As the night wound down, we said our goodbyes to our families. YN’s mom hugged me tight, whispering, "Take care of her, young man. She’s special." I nodded, feeling the weight of her words.
It was the perfect day—surrounded by family, friends, and ARMYs who loved and supported us.
