Arthur ran to my bed as the door slammed shut. "I am sorry, Liam; I shouldn't have left you. I didn't think it through." I perceive the hurt in his remarks. "Fix my shoulder, Arthur; its dislocated before the wolf healing pulls in," pained my voice. He clutched his jaw and put himself to work. It was finished in a matter of minutes. Blessings of the moon goddess, that speeds up our healing process compared to other magical beings and humans alike. Nonetheless, it is unlikely to realign the bones.

"You will be healed by tomorrow, but you cannot show it to them; they will get scared," Arthur said, examining my wounds. I understood his words: "Talk to the doctor and put me in an arm sling for a few days, and you can fake changing my dressing." He left to do as I had told him.

I was sound asleep until I heard some whispering noises originating next to the door. I caught her voice. She was asking Arthur about me. He was comforting her. Grinning, I turned back into sleep. I saw my angel sitting in front of me when I woke up the second time.

"You're awake! Would you want a coffee? or something to eat," she muttered, making sure that only I could hear. I gave a nod. She went to get coffee for me. while I pushed myself to sit on the bed. I knew I was as good as myself with no pain. Not even a scar left of my wounds. But I have an act to put on. I can do that gladly for my girl. My wolf shakes his head like a dog.

When I took my watch down from the nightstand, I saw that it was two in the morning. How on earth did she end up in my room? Where is Arthur? I heard the door open and the aroma of coffee permeating the space. Though the aroma of coffee filled my nostrils, my wolf could still smell her like spice and freesia. She gave the coffee mug to me and brought hers to her lips. She had several bandages on her wrist and arm and was exhausted. She doesn't seem to have many bruises. The fact that she was unharmed pleased me. Arthur had assured me of it but seeing it myself made my wolf calm.

"How do you feel?" I asked. Her green eyes held warmth and anguish as she raised her gaze to mine. "I am fine. I was not hurt like you." She whispered again. "Why aren't you sleeping in your bed? Where is Arthur?" demanded my voice.

"Lower your voice. He is asleep in the hall. I wanted to be here." – I was glad to have her here. Maybe happier if I could just reach her out and pull her to me. But I kept that thought to myself.

"I am sorry! I pulled you down with me. I thought I had firm footing but didn't notice when I lost my grip. Sorry, it was because of me you are hurt." – came her voice. I can feel pain and worry in her voice. "Nothing that happened was your fault. All I can say is that it was an unlucky event."  I replied as I took in the sadness drowning in her eyes.

" How long was I asleep? I guess I am all good now." I confirmed her with firmness in my voice but softening my tone.

She squirmed in her seat, placing the coffee down. Her fingers brushed the ends of her strands nervously as her lips twisted to speak, "About fifteen hours, I'm glad you're feeling better. If it isn't much of a bother, I would like to accompany you on this trip. I have arranged for a car to take us on the trip. I can drive too. Will follow the others in the comfort of the car."

My eyes widened, with the knowledge behind her imminent nervousness that she showcased a minute ago. I pulled her wrist, making her meet my gaze: "I love to join you. Maybe it will further my chance. Don't you think?" narrowing my eyes with playful hint in them

Her eyes widened with her thick, dark lashes fluttering. She was pleased with my response and perplexed. Her expression turned brighter with a smile. "You think? I can definitely give you extra credit for your bravery." Her smile reached her eyes while that hit my heart like lightning bolt. Tattooing her name on it. She did it. She entered my heart, leaving me powerless.

A few days have passed since that incident. We drove across South Africa's Garden Route after departing Kruger. Liam was healthy enough to join us on the beaches. I was accustomed to his constant flirting and subtle touches. Even Kate hinted to me at times, that he looks at me with so much love that it gives her diarrhea. She can be gross at times. I know romance or love is not her forte, but revenge & thrill was. My girl was perfect to commit a crime. I love her for that.

I was on the beach today with Liam near Hermanus. It was serene and warm today. I cherished every moment we shared. I was waiting for him to get his drink and join me while I was staring into the golden sun. Even before he appeared, I could feel his presence close to me. With a charming bouquet of yellow flowers, he held his hands out in front of me.

These are the small yellow flowers I saw earlier on the side of this beach. The gesture hit my heart as bright as the yellow flowers are. I don't know what these flowers are called? but they definitely told the meaning behind.

A warmth spread through my heart, and a smile graced my face. "They are beautiful. Thank you 😊" – I almost whispered and reached for them, only to have him lift it up. I extended my hands and on tip toes to release them from his hold. I felt his arm around my waist tightening the hold and his lips brushing my forehead. I was stunned by his action. I forgot to get the flower but locked my gaze with him. He grinned with such love in his eyes. I felt lost.

"You took off your arm sling," I screeched with happiness. His chest rumbled with laughter, and he tightened his grip on the waist. His fingers made their way to my bare skin, through a gap in the dress. It lit me on fire; a jolt fell through me. He leaned over and breathed me in. My skin tingled from his breath. He brushed his lips on my neck, making a small kiss before he lifted his eyes to meet mine. Something changed inside me.
