Bonus scene

This was a spur-of-the-moment scene I wrote while listening to "Something There" from Beauty and the Beast, and I got inspired to write this. It's very messy and kind of all over the place, but it helped me answer the question of why Percival, Johnny, Henry, and Bill were so insistent that Jack and Y/n get together. Hope you enjoy!

 "...ninety-seven, ninety-eight, ninety-nine, one hundred!" Percival cried, removing his hands from his eyes. "Ready or not, here I come!" The boy skipped happily into the forest, peeking around trees, bushes, and rocks.

"Hmm," he said loudly, tapping his chin. "I wonder where they could be?" A giggle rose from one of the bushes, and Percival darted around it.

"Ha! Found you!" he crowed triumphantly, pointing at Bill, who was squatting behind the bush.

"Let's go find the others!" Bill announced, jumping up and hooking his arm through Percival's.

"Where could Henry be?" Percival pondered aloud. Something mischievous glinted in Bill's eye and he sprinted behind a rock, spotting Henry crouching behind it.

"Found ya!" Bill said happily.

"Hey wait, I'm the seeker, I'm supposed to find him!" Percival protested.

"But I found him first!" Bill exclaimed.

"Will you two quit it?" Henry stood up and brushed dirt off his uniform. "Let's go find Johnny. It doesn't matter who found me."

"Okay fine," Percival said, shrugging. That was the thing about little kids-they could get over small issues just as quickly as they could get in them. The three kids walked into the forest and quickly found Johnny, who was squatting behind a throng of bushes.

"We found you!" Percival said triumphantly. "Now let's go find Y/n!"

"I hear voices over here!" Johnny said, eyes wide as he pointed deeper into the forest. "Let's go check it out!" The four of them skipped into the forest, craning their necks to look into the trees. Behind the leaves they could see flashes of skin and color, but they weren't sure it was her.

"Look look look!" Percival hissed, pulling Johnny aside and pointing in the direction of a tree. Y/n sat on the branch, Jack next to her. One of his hands was on her face as he looked deeply into her eyes, leaning closer.

Johnny gasped dramatically, jaw dropping.

"They're going to kiss, they're going to kiss!" he whispered excitedly, jumping up and down, eyes wide.

"Found you!!" Bill said excitedly, skipping over to the tree.

"What's this?" Jack asked, looking down at them. The littluns trembled with excitement-his hand was still on her face!

"I was playing Hide and seek with them," Y/n said, batting Jack's hand away.

"Did we interrupt something?" Bill asked, assuming an innocent expression.

"What do you mean?" Y/n asked, climbing down from the tree.

"You looked like you were..." Bill couldn't contain himself, a mischievous grin spreading across his face. Henry's eyes widened, and Percival and Johnny burst into identical shrieks of joyous laughter.

"Were you and Jack about to kiiiiiiiis?" Percival asked eagerly, bouncing on the balls of his feet at Y/n's side, eyes wide as saucers. Y/n blushed, fiddling with the hem of her shirt.

"I mean...well...we're not..." she stammered. Percival threw his friends a knowing look.

Sure they weren't about to kiss!
