I hope everyone is staying safe during this hurricane season, sending my love to whoever was in it's path. We lost power for a few hours and the yard is a mess but no damage to us thankfully 🫶 sorry this took so long!

Over the next week, Isabella slowly regained her stamina back and wasn't taking as many naps like she had been. She was practically like a newborn when she had the flu, she had no energy to speak or eat. She nursed the majority, if not the whole time and slept when she wasn't nursing. Carina and Maya would have to switch off who got in the bath with her because she would stir but not wake up fully in the tub. Although she didn't like feeling sick, she really didn't like the fact her body wouldn't allow her to fully slip. She felt like a burden with her Mothers having to take care of her even more so now that she was sick. They kept reassuring her it was their job and they would do it constantly. She stayed in an in-between headspace, whining when she didn't get her way but her responses weren't in her babyish voice that she had when she fully slipped. Her eyes never looked hazy but she had the same fuzzy feeling in her head and chest, it left her overwhelmingly confused. She cuddled up with Carina on the couch while Maya had to go in for a brief work meeting with a promise of bringing McDonald's home for the girl since she felt better and thought she could stomach some nuggets for once. She clutched the woman's shirt in her first, eyes trained on the tv at the Christmas movie the woman put on as the Italian answered work emails on her phone. Once she had finished, she paused the movie to get the girl's full attention.

"Bambina, have you thought more about your nursery? You don't have to always sleep in there, it can just be your safe space for little you is all." The Italian questioned gently, running her fingers through the brunette's hair as she watched the girl lean into her hand with a sigh of relief. She smirked, the girl was falling asleep again as she took her hand away earning a whine from Isabella. The girl shook her head, she didn't even know what was supposed to go in it and she didn't want them spending more money on her. Mama and Momma had already started putting presents under the tree for her, explaining Mamas buy their babies for Christmas while Santa builds them and brings them on Christmas Eve. The thought of all the money they spent overwhelming her already when she just got them silly bracelets. She was worried they wouldn't even like them, though Arizona, Addison and Amelia said they would absolutely love them. She had also been working on a scrapbook of their time together, secretly taking pictures of them together from each woman's phone and sharing them to her own camera roll. She hadn't been able to work on it since she had the flu but she was hoping she could finish it soon now that she felt 90% better versus how she felt at the beginning of the week. She blushed thinking of how needy she must've been, having accidents almost every night and ending up in her Mothers bed because they were too tired to change her sheets each time. She made a mental note to go check on her bedroom once the women went to bed but knowing them, they probably deep cleaned it every single morning before the girl woke up with how clean they were.

"What do we put in a nursery Momma?" The girl asked shyly, her thumb traveling to her mouth as she nervously began biting it before the Italian quickly intercepted it with a pacifier. Isabella pouted at her, shaking her head at the rubber comfort item. She was big, she didn't need this right now. When she tried to spit it out, Carina just held it there in a power struggle between the two before Isabella ended up submitting to it. She didn't want to be popped or put in timeout, it was best to just listen to her Momma. She would never win against the woman anyways. The girl blushed upon hearing her Momma praise her for listening before the woman pulled her laptop out from the side table by the couch, opening the age regression website she had been saving that had all the furniture she needed. Maya and Carina had been planning this for a while now but didn't want to rush the girl.
