Isabella woke up in a grumpy mood and she wasn't sure why. The wives were overly excited too early in the morning for her liking as they rushed around, packing work bags along with a little bag in case Isabella slipped. Her head was killing her, her throat hurt and it felt like she could throw up at any minute. She didn't want to miss her first day at the clinic though, Maya had hyped it up explaining how helpful the girl was going to be so she didn't want to disappoint her Mama. Carina and Maya had already prepared breakfast, gotten themselves dressed and loaded the car up before going to get the girl up. They were a little suspicious as the girl always got up before them, being ready for work within five minutes of waking up. As they knocked on the door, creaking it open they watched as the girl was slowly getting ready for work into her uniform. As she put her boots on, she groaned, pinching the bridge of her nose from all the pressure gathering in her head. The wives came in, concerned as Carina felt the girl's head feeling it a bit warmer than normal. "Bambina, do you feel ok?" she asked gently, her frowning deepening as the girl swatted her hand away while nodding. Isabella had planned on avoiding them the majority of the day to hide but she knew it was going to be harder working with them. She walked past the breakfast table, climbing into the backseat as she shut her eyes immediately with a look of discomfort on her face as she waited for the two other women to come. They didn't want to start a fight this early in the morning so they packed the brunette some breakfast and medicine before coming out to the car with all the bags in their hands. They couldn't help but be more worried as they noticed the girl had already fallen asleep in the short span of two minutes from being in the car. The girl had grown to enjoy sleeping but she had never fallen asleep that quickly.
The wives made a mental note to take her temperature as soon as they got to the station and give her some meds while Maya began driving. They could only hear Isabella's quiet snores and soft music playing to not disturb the girl's much needed nap. As they pulled into the station, they made quick work of unloading the bags before waking the girl up by carefully picking her up to bring her inside. Isabella whined as she rested her head on Maya's shoulder, bringing her thumb to her mouth as Maya rubbed her back to coax her gently from her nap. Her head snapped up finally realizing they were not home and she was in fact slipping. She squirmed from her Mama's arms grumpily, huffing when Maya put her down as she stomped away to the bathroom. Maya and Carina gave each other a look. This was going to be a long day if sick Isabella was this grumpy. Meanwhile, Isabella was splashing water on her face to wake herself up and get whatever crud she had out of her system. She hated being sick and she felt guilty for being a brat with her mothers but why couldn't they just read her mind? She knew they would've made her stay home though so she couldn't complain much as she rubbed her sleepy eyes. After a few minutes, she came out looking a little better as the wives waited for her with a syringe of pink medicine and her water bottle. Isabella seemed to melt the moment she saw them. She was being such a grumpy brat and the mothers still wanted to take care of her. She crashed into them, giving them a big squeeze as they returned the hug; happy their baby was feeling a little bit better and cuddly. Carina encouraged Isabella to open her mouth as she administered the medicine to her, chuckling as the girl whined at the taste. Maya offered the brunette her water bottle as she chugged it, giving it back to her Mama as she said a small thank you. Carina cupped the girl's cheeks in her hand, "Bambina, you need to tell Mommy and Mama if something is wrong, si? What has gotten our baby so grumpy this morning?" The girl whimpered, her head going fuzzy at the intense feeling of comfort and love they gave her. "I'm sorry Mommy, don't feel good and I wasn't nice to you guys." The girl whimpered out, tears already pooling at her eyes as the woman cooed over her and the confession she was already aware of. She kissed the girl's head, "But Mommy and Mama can make it better, can't we? A certain little Bambina just needs to tell us, hm?" Isabella nodded shyly, melting even more at how well her Mommy spoke to her.
