Maya had a pretty good relationship with every chief and Sergeant in the city, using it to her advantage as she walked into the police headquarters to speak to Isabella's boss. The brunette would probably kill her if she ever found out the blonde came to speak to him but she was going to be secretive about her regression. He was a great guy, she knew he wouldn't judge but knew Isabella wasn't ready for everyone to know yet. Truthfully, they just wanted some police officers to help supervise the crowds during clinic hours at the fire station and she wanted to influence him to assign Isabella to do it. That way, the wives would be able to ensure the brunette ate properly and rested throughout the day. She knew the girl enjoyed being physical and out in the field but it wasn't benefiting her at all when the wives couldn't observe her taking care of herself. She would be able to go out into the world as a cop when the clinic was closed, it was only open three days a week. She knew once Isabella got over the brief disappointment of not being out on call, she would be excited to be close to her Mamas during the day. As she walked into the station, she noticed Isabella at her desk typing away on her computer; most likely doing some report after an arrest. She knocked on the chief's door, slipping in upon hearing a Come In before Isabella could notice her being there.

"Captain Deluca-Bishop, to where do I owe the pleasure of having your appearance at the station? You always just call me" the chief stood up, shaking her hand firmly with a smile on his face. Maya smiled back, returning the shake as he motioned for her to take a seat in front of his desk. "Well, as you know we've been able to have more clinic hours at the station but it's bringing in quite the rough crowd. I was wondering if we could add an officer to be there to help supervise for everyone's safety" Maya explained, happy to see him already nodding along. He ran his hand along the beard he had in thought, "I don't see why not, you had me at safety Cap. Who were you thinking, if anyone at all?"

"Officer Montgomery has always been a huge help and asset to us. My whole team has requested her!" Maya said, hopeful he would easily agree. Maya had already told her team about it, surprised to hear it was more common between the station than she thought. They were excited to add another little to the mix. He sucked his breath in before nodding slowly, "you get to break the news to her, she thoroughly enjoys being out in the world but I think this will be safer for her. The poor girl is great but always getting hurt. If she gives you a hard time, tell her it's an order from the chief." Maya smirked, Isabella wasn't going to argue with her Mama but she wasn't going to tell him that exactly. They shook hands again after exchanging some gossip between one another about their own workplace. As Maya walked out of his office, he quickly snapped the blinds shut to avoid Isabella, knowing she was going to be angry. Maya chuckled, she knew Isabella would be upset but she didn't exactly understand why he seemed to be so scared of her sweet girl. Guess she was about to find out but she opted to wait for dinner tonight, so the three could sit down to talk about it. She walked over to the girl's desk, Isabella had slipped out before the wives woke up but had luckily remembered to bring her lunch and brand new water bottle that her Mama had got her for water. Isabella had yet to lift her head from the screen when Maya walked up, eyes glued looking like a zombie as she continued typing. Maya frowned, noticing the way her eyes seemed blurred and the bags slowly forming under them. Did she sleep last night, is that why she left before they woke up? Maya sent a text to the chief, informing him that she was taking Isabella home early to break the news to her that way. He sent a thumbs up with a "good luck" before she made her presence known. Isabella practically jumped five feet in the air upon hearing Maya calling her "sweet girl" blushing as she frantically looked around.

"Maya, what are you doing here? Did I miss a call?" Isabella asked, looking at her phone and call logs from the computer not noticing any missed calls or text. "I came to take you home early, I had a meeting with the chief and he said you could leave a couple minutes early" Maya replied with ease as she grabbed Isabella's stuff for her. Isabella blushed, she loved how sweet her Mama was and caring but she was still embarrassed of being babied in public. Carina and Maya simply did not care about anyone's judgment. She really idolized them for it but it could not be her, however she was grateful they always protected her. She got up, grabbing her water bottle and waited until they reached the door before grabbing her Mama's hand. She was sad to wake up early and just leave but knew they would interrogate her on how long she slept. She had a nightmare the night prior and only got about three hours of sleep, having an accident in her pull up. She didn't know where the other ones were so she opted to stay awake so she didn't have another accident. She regretted it by the time she got to work, she felt like a zombie and was exhausted as she went out for calls. She dragged her feet tiredly to the car as Maya was telling her about the dinner Carina was cooking for them, trying to get the girl to speak about her day. Isabella just kept nodding, zoning out as she climbed into the backseat. Maya was shocked, the girl always put up a fight when having to sit in the back but this time she had put herself there. She noticed how tired she looked as she helped the girl buckle up and gave her a quick kiss on her head before closing the back door. Getting into the driver seat, she sent Carina a quick text before pulling off to drive them home as she continued to try to get the girl to talk to her. Isabella laid her head on the window and she was out like a light within five seconds, much to Maya's dismay.
