Narrator's POV
"Don't look. Don't look." Daryl tells Carol as he lifts her up from the ground, her sobs echoing in Scarlett's ears
"No!" Carol cries out as she shoves Daryl away from her before she runs off. Beth's sobs into Jimmy's chest before she wiggles from his grasp and stumbles toward the bodies
"Beth. Bethy." Scarlett says
"Shh, shh, shh. Wait, wait." Rick says before Beth pushes past him, Scarlett trailing behind her. Beth lets out a sob as she reaches Annette's limp body before she pushes a walker off of her mother
"Ma..." Beth mutters, trailing off before Annette snarls and grips onto Beth earning a loud shriek from Beth
"Beth!" Scarlett screams out as she rushes to grab ahold of Beth, trying but failing to pull her from Annette's cold grasp. Shane, Glenn, Rick, Maggie, Jimmy, Hershel, T-Dog, and Andrea rushing to help Scarlett
"Pull her away, pull her away!" Scarlett yelps out before they finally manage to pull Beth from Annette's grasp and T-Dog stomps on Annette's head while Andrea grabs the scythe that was leaning against the barn before she hits Annette in the head with the blade
Scarlett fights back a gag as she turns away from everyone before vomit spews from her mouth and into the grass
"C'mon, Scarlett." Patricia mutters as she helps Scarlett toward the house, Hershel, Beth, Maggie, and Glenn trailing not far behind them. Shane runs to catch up with them causing Rick to hurry after Shane
"We been out. We been combing these woods lookin' for her and she was in there all along?" Shane asks
"You knew." He adds
"Leave us alone." Maggie tells him
"Hey, Shane, just stop, man." Glenn says as Rick grips Shane's arm
"Get your hands off me." Shane says as he jerks out of Rick's grip
"You knew and you kept it from us." Shane says
"I didn't know." Hershel says
"That's bullshit. I think y'all knew." Shane says
"We didn't know!" Maggie exclaims
"Why was she there?" Shane asks as they reach the house
"Your-- Otis put those people in the barn. Maybe he found her and put her in there before he was killed." Hershel says as he comes to a stop before he turns to look at Shane
"You expect me to believe that? What do I look like? Do I look like an idiot?" Shane asks as Scarlett runs to face him
"No, but ya do look like a walking ball sack!" Scarlett seethes as Rick steps in front of Shane
"Shane, hey, hey, hey." Rick says
"I don't care what you believe!" Hershel tells Shane
