Narrator's POV
After two long weeks of being bed ridden Scarlett had finally began feeling better. Maggie was filling her in on all things she had missed; Beth's shock, Hershel disappearing to the bar in town, Glenn and Rick going after him, Maggie telling Glenn she loved him, him not saying it back, Lori's car wreck, Lori being pregnant, Beth's attempted suicide due to Andrea's negligence, the arrival of Randal, and Shane and Rick's trip eighteen miles out
"Beth slit her wrists, Maggie. You shoulda told me. I coulda helped." Scarlett says as she slips her right slipper on
"You couldn't even get outta bed, Scarlett." Maggie tells her
"Has anyone decided what we're gonna do with this Randal guy?" Scarlett asks as she slips her left slipper on
"Everybody's got an opinion." Maggie says as she shrugs her shoulders
"We're all gettin' ready to discuss it downstairs." Maggie says as Scarlett stands up from the edge of her bed
"Well, c'mon then." Scarlett mutters before she, Maggie, Dozer, and Luna make their way down the stairs where everyone is waiting on them
"Hey, sweetie. How ya feelin'?" Lori asks with a soft smile
"Much better." Scarlett says with a soft smile as Maggie helps her over to the couch before Scarlett sits down beside her father and Maggie sits down on the other side of Scarlett
"So how do we do this? Just take a vote?" Glenn asks
"Does it have to be unanimous?" Andrea asks
"How about majority rules?" Scarlett suggests
"Well, let's-- Let's just see where everybody stands, then we can talk through the options." Rick says
"Well, the way I see it, there's only one way to move forward." Shane says
"Killing him, right? I mean, why even bother to take a vote? It's clear which way the wind's blowing." Dale says
"Well, if people believe we should spare him, I wanna know." Rick says
"Well, I can tell you it's a small group. Maybe just me and Glenn." Dale says
"Look, I-- I think you're pretty much right about everything, all the time, but this--" Glenn starts
"They've got you scared." Dale says cutting him off
"He's not one of us. And we've-- we've lost too many people already." Glenn tells him
"How bout you? Do you agree with this?" Dale asks Maggie
"Couldn't we continue keeping him prisoner?" Maggie asks
