Narrator's POV
The group hadn't been this beaten down since the farm. Rick was on his knees, tears staining his cheeks, Daryl was stood in front of him waving his hand in front of his face, Carl was stood next to them silently crying over the loss of his mother. Scarlett stared down at the baby girl in her arms, tear stained cheeks and red puffy eyes
"Rick, you with me?" Daryl asks Rick
"Rick?" Daryl asks as Carl steps over to Maggie and Maggie carefully passes his baby sister to him
"Let me see the babies." Hershel says before Carl steps over to him
"Scarlett." Hershel calls out, it sounds so distant to Scarlett, her feet had cemented to the ground, her heart ached at the losses the day had brought
"Scar." Beth calls out, Scarlett's head was spinning, the image of her shaky hand aiming her gun at Sadie replaying in her mind over and over
"Hey." Daryl mutters as he steps over to Scarlett and Hershel checks Lori's baby girl over
"Ya with us?" Daryl asks as he reaches out and lifts her chin
"Huh?" Scarlett asks as her green orbs lock with his blue ones
"Are ya with us?" He repeats
"Yeah...yeah." Scarlett mutters before her feet slowly move over to Hershel
"What're we gonna feed 'em?" Daryl asks as Hershel looks over the baby in Scarlett's arms
"I mean, Scarlett breastfeeds the twins, but she said somethin' about her supply dryin' up." He adds
"It's cause she's dehydrated and exhausted." Hershel says as he stares at his eldest daughter
"The good news is they both look healthy. But they need formula. And soon, or they won't survive." Hershel says
"Nope. No way. Not them. We ain't losin' nobody else. I'm goin' for a run." Daryl says as he drapes his crossbow over his shoulders
"I'll back you up." Maggie blurts out
"I'll go, too." Glenn says
"Okay, think where we're goin'." Daryl says
"Beth." Daryl says before he pulls Beth away from Carl and Scarlett follows after them
"Kid just lost his mom. His dad ain't doin' so hot." Daryl tells Beth
"I'll look out for him." Beth tells him
"You two get the fence. Too many pile up, we got ourselves a problem." Daryl tells Oscar and Axel
"Glenn, Maggie, vámonos." Daryl says as Rick stands up from the ground and picks up his axe
"Rick!" Maggie calls after him as he storms back into their cellblock
"Get the gate. C'mon, we gonna lose the light." Daryl says before Maggie and Glenn hurry over to him
"I need ya to take them." Scarlett mutters
"Somebody please." Scarlett says as Glenn jogs back over to them
