⚜ 𝕿𝖍𝖊 𝖈𝖔𝖓𝖘𝖕𝖎𝖗𝖆𝖈𝖞 𝖆𝖌𝖆𝖎𝖓𝖘𝖙 𝕿𝖆𝖊𝖍𝖞𝖚𝖓𝖌 ⚜

Taehyung was now again in the dark prison alone. He was still feeling tired and dazing off as he was feeling tired to even open his eyes. He was braced from the tortures yesterday evening so he wasn't hurt much. Yesterday evening he was finally given some food and water for the next day's execution. So, he had some energy to stay awake for his execution which was happening today.

 The prison guards entered the prison with a bucket of cold water. They splashed the whole bucket of water on Taehyung and gave him white clothes to put on. They also gave him a glass of water to drink and some food as if that was the last meal he would ever have. Taehyung ate hungrily. After eating, Taehyung wore white clothes and then the guards tied his wrists with iron cuffs. He then started to move towards the place of execution with guards behind him. Every footstep he took, he was getting nearer to his death.

They reached the Royal Colosseum. The Colosseum was large and wide. There was a tall platform at the center of the Colosseum which may be his final place. The stage was straight from the platform where the king, the dowager empress and other royals, aristocrats and nobles were sitting. Lady Harin was sitting just beside his highness in all her glory.

 Similarly, lots of stones were gathered and placed in the place where citizens of the Raven kingdom were sitting. There were more than 10,000 people gathered. Taehyung chuckled in despair. He would surely die if all those people threw stones at him at once. The prison guard pulled the iron chains and told him to kneel on the platform.

"Kill him!!"

"Kill that traitor!!"

"Kill him!!"

"Kill him!!"

The loud noises were echoing in the Royal Colosseum. More than thousands of citizens were cursing and shouting angrily at the boy kneeling on the tall execution platform in the centre of the royal Colosseum. The citizens were angry and offended by the boy's crime. They just wanted him to die. The sun was scorching high in the sky in the afternoon, but the boy looked pale as if he was not affected by the hot summer sunlight. His hairs were slightly wet as if he had just showered. His hands were chained behind his back and his head was lowered. The red, purple, and blue marks all around his exposed skin showed that he was heavily tortured before he was brought here.

The boy was wearing white clothes which looked clean and bright because of the sunlight. His face was blocked by his shoulder-length silver hair. None could see the expression on the boy's face. What was the feeling when he was just a step away from his death? Was he afraid? Was he regretting the crime he had committed? Was he terrified of death? The platform on the platform looked like the Grim Reaper was standing just behind the kneeling boy and was ready to take his soul to hell.

The noises were continuously echoing in the royal arena demanding his death. Those people looked like hungry wolves hunting their prey. Not an ounce of doubt and sympathy was seen in their eyes. They were all just looking forward to the boy's death. At this time when the whole world was against him, what was the boy thinking?

Nothing.

His mind was blank. He was tired. He was tired of explaining. He was tired of being doubted. Why did it happen to him? What crime did he commit? Was it because he fell in love with the person he was not supposed to? It may be, after all, that he was just a commoner. He couldn't be compared to the people living in the capital. He couldn't be compared to the so-called nobles. He couldn't be compared to the royals. At this moment, he was just a puny insect who was ready to be trampled by everyone present. He had lost all his hopes and shine in his eyes. As everyone was demanding his death, he was also ready to die. He just wanted to be free from this pain. Although he looked clean and fine, his whole body was aching in pain. Although he looked pale, he was burning because of the bright sunlight. But who would notice his pain?
