3rd POV
The morning sun cast a warm glow over the quiet streets, the remnants of last night’s fireworks still lingering in the hearts of those who had watched them. Y/n and Futarou strolled side by side, the gentle breeze brushing past them as they made their way down the familiar road, their footsteps soft against the pavement.
As they turned the corner near the shopping district, the rich aroma of freshly brewed coffee drifted through the air, drawing their attention to a quaint little café just ahead. Standing at the entrance, casually sipping from a paper cup, was Ichika. Her crimson red hair caught the sunlight, and her relaxed posture made her look like she belonged in a magazine ad.
She noticed them immediately, lifting her cup slightly with a playful smile.
"Yo! Good morning!" Ichika greeted, her voice light and cheerful, as if the weight of the world didn’t exist in her universe.
Y/n offered a casual wave. "Hey."
Futarou gave a simple nod. "Morning."
After returning Ichika's greeting, the two boys continued walking without so much as a second glance in her direction.
Ichika raised an eyebrow, a little pout forming on her lips. "Hey! Don’t either of you have something to say about my new winter uniform?"
Futarou shot her a sideways glance, clearly unamused. "What’s with you so early in the morning?"
Y/n blinked, only now realizing the subtle changes in her outfit. "Ah, right! Nice uniform, Ichika. Sorry, I didn’t notice it before."
Ichika’s expression brightened at the compliment. "Thanks, Y/n! See, that’s how you’re supposed to react. Futarou, you really need to learn how to compliment a girl."
Futarou rolled his eyes. "Yeah, whatever."
Without warning, Ichika stepped forward and placed herself right between them, walking in perfect sync as if it had always been that way.
"I know school’s just a few blocks from here," she said, hands clasped behind her back, "but I want to walk there with you two today."
Y/n tensed slightly, glancing around at the few early-morning passersby. "I-Ichika, you're going to make people stare..."
Futarou sighed, adjusting his bag strap. "Yeah, and we’re not fans of that kind of attention."
Ichika just chuckled, clearly enjoying their discomfort. "Hehehe... really?"
She tilted her head back to gaze up at the soft, cloud-swirled sky. Her voice softened.
"After the festival yesterday, I told my sisters about my part-time job. You should’ve seen their faces they were totally shocked."
Flashback the night after the Festival .
The Nakano household was unusually quiet that evening, a soft glow from the living room lights setting a calm tone. The girls had just returned from the fireworks festival, their yukatas traded for pajamas, and snacks were scattered across the table.
Ichika stood in front of them, fidgeting slightly with her phone before finally speaking up.
"So... there's something I want to tell you all," she said, her voice carrying a hint of nervous excitement. "I got a part-time job. I'm going to be acting. In actual movies."
The room fell silent for a beat.
Itsuki blinked in confusion, halfway through unwrapping a snack. "Eh?"
Yotsuba’s eyes lit up as she shot upright from her seat. "Woooow! For real? You’re gonna be in the movies?! That’s amazing, Ichika!"
Miku, on the other hand, let out a small sigh and quietly reached over to the shelf. Without saying a word, she pulled out a notebook and a pen, flipping it open and holding it out to Ichika.
