RWBY reacts to the whole 'Cardin exposed Jaune's Fake Transcripts' trope

Setting: Team RWBY's dorm room at Beacon Academy. Yang, Weiss, Ruby, and Blake are sitting on their beds, discussing the recent events surrounding Jaune.

Ruby: (sighs) I just can't believe Cardin would do something like that. I mean, everybody knew he was a jerk, but this? Taking things that far?

Weiss: (rolling her eyes) Oh please, Ruby. You know how these stories go. The hero stumbles, the villain exploits it, and everyone else just eats it up. It’s classic angsty plot development.

Blake: (nodding) True. But it's still unfair to Jaune. He really believed he belonged here. I mean, he was trying to be a leader, to be a part of this team. Just because of a few transcripts?

Yang: (leaning back, arms crossed) I get that it’s rough for him, but honestly, it feels more like a setup for some dramatic character arc. “The Misunderstood Boy” trope is so overdone.

Ruby: (frowning) But it’s not just a trope for Jaune! This is his life! He was trying to prove himself, and now everyone’s just... walking away like that?

Weiss: (shrugging) It’s part of the story. He'll have to rise from the ashes, won't he? “From zero to hero,” and all that. Honestly, it’s practically a rite of passage.

Blake: (thoughtfully) I understand the narrative structure, Weiss, but this is about friendship too. They’re abandoning someone when he needs them the most. That doesn’t fit the ‘team’ theme we talk about.

Yang: (smirks) Just wait. I can already predict the next episode: Jaune's sad montage, wandering alone, then bam—a moment of introspection, he finds himself, and everyone rallies around him again.

Ruby: (fist pump) And then there’s that iconic moment when he saves the day! But still... I just wish it didn’t have to be like this.

Weiss: You’re idealistic, Ruby. Sometimes you have to tear them down before you can build them back up. Besides, we all know he’ll come out stronger.

Blake: (sighs) I just wish it didn’t have to hurt so much in the meantime. I mean, angst can be done well, but at what cost?

Yang: (leans in) Doesn’t matter, as long as it’s entertaining, right? But don’t worry—Jaune's main arc might be angsty, but he’s got us.

Ruby: (smiling softly) You’re right. We’ll be there for him. And who knows, maybe this will make him a better leader in the long run.

Weiss: Or just another cliché. But let’s not forget to keep our allies close. We need to support him, or this whole 'angsty plot point' could end badly.

Blake: Agreed. Let’s make sure he knows he’s not alone, clichés or not.

The girls nod, determination in their eyes, as they gather their resolve to support their teammate, even if the journey is fraught with drama.
