::a week later

Calum didn't know what is was, or why, but he actually wanted to go to school. This whole week was pretty exciting to him. He was pretty in denial though, he wouldn't admit it to his sister that Luke was why he was excited to go. For god's sake he only knew him for a week, but to Calum, it felt like he's known him longer than just a week. The two boys have grown to become very attached to each other already, but they both were in denial about having a tiny crush on each other.

Calum sprinted to his wardrobe, searching for something 'presentable,' forgetting the fact that the blonde couldn't even see him. He was obviously to whipped to realise anything.

He took a quick shower after checking his phone to see he only had 20 minutes. He got dressed, checking himself in the mirror. He finally left his house after saying goodbye to his mom and sister, ignoring his sister's remark about Luke and his outfit.

He walked to school, his earbuds plugged into his ears as he softly sang along with the song.

He finally arrived at his school, searching for someone in particular.

He finally saw the back of the boy's quiff, rushing over to him. He wrapped his arms around him from behind, embracing him into a "friendly" hug like he did every morning as the blonde flinched at first.

"Cal?" He asked hesitantly. Calum nodded before realising he couldn't see him as he let out a sigh of content.

"Yup," he said, causing the blonde to melt under his touch.

Soon enough a boy with coloured hair approached them.

"Hi, uh I'm kinda new here can you guys help me around a lil'?" The boy asked hesitantly, his green eyes averting to Calum and then Luke. Calum didn't know why, but he could just feel the boy's green eyes checking out the blonde. He pulled the blonde closer to him, almost feeling himself glare at the boy. wait, glare? He wasn't jealous, was he? He shook his head before forcing himself to smile at the boy.

"Sure thing, I'm Calum, and this is Luke," he said, his grip on the boy tightening.

"Uh Cal, you're squeezing me," the blonde boy said, laughing a bit.

"Oh sorry," he said, his grip on him loosening, but still not letting go of the blonde.

"But yeah, I'm Luke it's nice to meet you," Luke said, looking the opposite direction the colour-haired boy.

"So are you guys, like, dating?" He asked, pointing at both of them. Calum sighed, he wanted to say yes but he felt as if it would ruin their friendship.

"N-no, just really close friends I guess,"  Calum said, furrowing his eyebrows. Luke didn't know what it was but he could almost feel a wave of sadness take over him for a moment. he frowned a bit, before shaking whatever this feeling was off.

"Yeah, friends," Luke said, a bit of disappointment in his voice. Calum frowned at the tone of his voice, a bit confused, but he just ignored it, moving onto a different subject.

"Yeah we'll help you around," Calum finally said, still a bit hesitant.

"Cool, well I'm Michael by the way," he said, looking at both of the boys.

"I like your name, Michael," Luke said, offering him a smile.

"Yeah, nice name, I guess.." Calum said awkwardly, ignoring the feeling of jealousy that lingered in him.

"Thanks," Michael said as he smiled at both of them. They talked for a while, playing a quick game of 20 questions to get to know each other.

Calum just couldn't help it, his jealousy grew as he saw Luke and Michael get along very well.

Sooner or later, the school bell rang, signalling that they needed to get to class.

"Well, I'll see you later at Maths, Lukey," Calum said, forcing a smile although the blonde couldn't see him.

"You too, Cal-pal," the blonde said as he and Michael began walking away together, apparently they had their first period together.

Calum watched as the two continued walking the hall together, laughing at some joke probably.

He sighed before walking into his first period class, slouching into his seat.

This is gonna be a long ass day, he thought to himself, frowning as he ignored every thing his teacher said.
