Freya and Lizzie have stayed up all night trying to break through the cloaking spell Hope must have put on herself. Freya had told the rest of the Super Squad to go to bed to rest, as they'll be searching later this morning. Freya rubs her hands through her hair in frustration. "Her magic is so strong, nothing I can think of is working." She sighs and sits down on one of the comfortable chairs in the Salvatore Library. Lizzie looks at her, feeling the same frustration.
Freya stands up and starts pacing again. Her phone rings and she takes it out of her pocket, on the display screen is Rebekah Mikaelson, she had rung the rest of the family the previous night to tell them what happened, she told them she can handle it but she'd let them know if she needs there help for anything. She answers it quickly.
"Hi Rebekah"
"Have you found our niece yet?" the question sounds more like a demand.
"No, I can't break through her cloaking spell, and no locator spells are working. I don't know what to do Rebekah." Freya is getting emotional, it's not like her, she's usually so in control of everything magic. But this time she feels like she's just hitting a brick wall.
"Freya, remember when I went to find Hope when she had lost her humanity and afterward she left me on the side of the bloody road, stealing my car." Rebekah remembering that awful time when nothing she did could get through to Hope.
"Yes." Freya's eyes lit up, finally remembering how she had helped Rebekah find Hope. "How could I be so stupid, I should've remembered that." She's rubbing her hand through her hair again.
"How did you find her?" Lizzie stands up and walks over the Freya, fresh hope gleaming in her eyes."
"I've got to go Rebekah, I'll talk to you later." She hangs up immediately, knowing Rebekah was actually still talking but now she knows how to find Hope, she wants to get started straight away. She'll have to apologize later for hanging up on her.
"Lizzie, we need a map of the entire Salvatore land. If I know my niece she'll be miles away."
Lizzie hurries to go to her fathers office to get one. When she returns, Freya grabs it from her.
"Are you going to try another locator spell?" Lizzie asks. "We've tried so many already."
Freya grabs Lizzie's arms enthusiastically, "We've been trying to locate Hope this entire time, we've been doing it wrong Lizzie. We need to locate her Mikaelson necklace that she always wears around her neck. When Rebekah gave her that necklace we had spelled it to be like a beacon if we ever needed to find her. We were always so concerned enemies would come and take her. It's been years, so I had forgotten."
Lizzie breaks down but in happy tears, she's so relieved she is going to get her best friend back. "While you get ready, I'll wake the squad up so we can start searching straight away." she chokes out.
Freya starts setting up. Her heart is full too, she knows this will work, As long as Hope is wearing the crest, they will find her.
Josie had been in and out of Salvatore over the last hours desperately wanting to know if they had any clues. She had spent a lot of time sitting next to Lizzie, listening to her conversations with Freya. She was pulled back to limbo just as Freya's phone had rung.
She tries to kick the chair that she's standing near, the anger overflowing in her body. But her foot just went through it. Causing a slurry of swear words and a big pout from Josie. She would've felt a lot better if she could just kick it to relieve her tension.
Her mother was no where to be seen, she must've gone for a walk somewhere. Josie secretly wants her mother to take the boat ride back to peace. As much as she loves her mother, she's sick of her mollycoddling her. She just wants to be left alone so she can focus on what's happening in the real world.
