"Well who do we have here my love?" Aurora had just come down the stairway and into the living room of the mansion they're staying in. It's early in the morning and she is surprised to see they have visitors. She's looking at a girl and a boy, the boy muscular, and tall, she can tell even though he's seated. The girl much shorter, slight and nervous. They look around 18 – 19 human years old.
"These are my two offspring. I'd like to introduce you to my son Ben and daughter Jen.
You could've knocked Aurora over with a feather in that moment, she never expected this self centred, egotistical and above all dangerous god to have children.
"You never mentioned you had children." She points her answer to Ken.
"They have been disappointments to me, so I don't' often speak of them but they are crucial to our plan."
Aurora raises her eyebrows and looks between the two children, she's met a lot of terrible people in her time but to say his children are disappointments with them sitting right there, probably is somewhere on the top of her list. She sees them both squirm in their chairs at the comment.
"They have unique powers" he goes on to say. Aurora now listening with interest. Ben can heal himself from any injury almost instantly, he has enormous strength and he can look into someone's mind, for memories, or thoughts. While my daughter can also heal, she is a prestigious armorer." He looks at Jen with something very rare she would say, a look of pride. "It is Jen that made the red oak sword to kill the tribrid." He goes and stands behind her and places his hands on her shoulders. A brief look of fear shows on her face, but in a flash it's gone. Not quick enough for Aurora not to see it though. She wonders what secrets his daughter holds.
"Our plan? We haven't discussed the next phase yet." she questions firmly.
"Don't dare question me in front of my children woman." He scolds.
"Our plan is simple you will infiltrate the school under an alias of course, and then Ben and Jen will follow, we needed the tribrid out the way because she knows your face, from when you disgraced yourself with her father.
Aurora looks away briefly rolling her eyes.
"You will take over the school as violently and as forcibly as you need. You'll have to make a spectacle about it so the tribrid finds out, and as she is a martyr she will come to try and save her friends. I will be there waiting to pierce her heart with the red oak and cuther heart out of her body, she will then succumb to me, the most powerful being."
Both Ben and Jen side glanced each other, Aurora seeing and she's wondering if they are really alright with this plan.
"Forgive me father, may I speak." The first words she has heard from either child. It comes out shaky, hesitantly.
Ken looks at Ben menacingly. "If you must."
"From everything we have heard about the tribrid, she is good, Why are you so content on killing her."
The look on Ken's face said it all, he was irate. He went over to Ben and slapped him hard across the face. He lifts him up with no effort and throws him across the room, smashing his back on the hard woodwalls. Aurora was taken a back, she hadn't expected him to be so violent with his own son.
"I.. I'm so sorry father." He gets himself up off the floor and bows to his father. I will not question you again."
As Aurora watches the events happening in front of her, she see's Bens injuries healing within minutes. Far quicker than anyone else she has ever seen in her 1000 years.
