"There will be no divorce, ever. So think before you say yes." His view fixated on her.
"I've already said yes." Her voice and eyes were dim, too much for anyone to not notice.
"I'm a cruel man so don't you dare humiliate me if you get cold feet and...

Shahwar followed him out of the car as the driver started to replace the tyre with the spare one but then the screws of the jack fell off and the driver told them it would take half an hour for him to fix it.
Shahwar kept on loitering around and pouting near Rehaan. "You should sit, you'll get tired." She said to him as he stood watching the driver.
"Oh yeah? Tell me Ms Dur e Shahwar, where should I sit? Do you see any chairs around this deserted place?" He held his face in the air tilting it to send her a salty look.
"You don't want to sit in the car?" She said in the same calm adorable voice unbothered by his snarky comments.
"You can go inside." He turned his face towards the direction of the driver again.
"I will stay with you." Her sweet voice and tone was going to make him diabetic he thought.
Rehaan started walking across the patches of grass and saw something that looked like a warehouse. The weather was turning cold and cloudy. It could start raining anytime. When he reached the place he suddenly saw Shahwar behind him walking there as well. He was trying to get away from her and she kept on clinging to him.
"Didn't I tell you to sit in the car? Why did you come here?" His patience was running out.
"I told you I'll stay with you." She held one of his hand in both of hers.
"I'm not going to entertain you. Go back to the car." He tried to slowly take his hand out of hers.
"Why are you being like this? What have I done?" She was trying not to cry.
"Why are you being like this? Just let me be." He was already tired of this conversation.
"Why won't you talk to me?" She knew her voice was weakening.
"When do we ever even talk Shahwar? We're not like that with each other. We don't share anything with each other, remember?" His voice grew aggressive on its own.
"Then talk to me. I don't like it when you don't."
"I don't have anything to say. I'm not like others. I don't talk about anything." He recalled how Hassan's brother kept on talking to her the previous night.
"You can talk to me, I'll listen." She came closer to him.
"Go back to the car." He took his blazer off and loosened his collar.
"No." She shook her head. "Tell me what I did. You're mad at me, I hate it." Tears welled up in her eyes.
"Why does it even matter, huh? I'm not funny, I can't crack jokes like your friend and I don't make you laugh." He grew weary.
"None of that matters to me. Only you do." She held his face to make him look at her.
"Why the fuck does it matter when I'm a useless man who can't make his wife happy!" The words hit his realization harder than hers.
"You do make me happy. I am happy with you Rehaan." Small droplets crawled out of her eyes.
"You don't have to pretend all the time, I have seen actual happiness on you, that's not when you're with me." He ran his hand through his hair trying to look away.
"Well you're wrong. You're my happiness Rehaan. You are." She turned his face back to her with her hands, "Will you not believe me?"
"What should I believe? Tell me?" Now he wanted answers.
"Anyone can crack jokes it doesn't make them my husband. It doesn't make anyone else the man who means everything to me." She blinked and pursed her lips hoping he'd understand.
"Why? Why Shahwar?" His breathing became harder.
"Because you're the man I love.I love you Rehaan." She cried also trying to stop her tears from flowing.
"What did you say?" He felt like everything else had just deafened him.
"I love you." She said between her sobs and then rubbed her eyes.
"You love me?" He could feel his heart shooting the heartbeat sound to his ears and she nodded slowly.
"Can you please say that again?" He softly lifted her face and wiped her tears.
"I love you." She said without complaining and then his lips were on hers in an instant. It wasn't rough, instead he kissed her slowly with care and warmth. Shahwar's palms went on his chest, resting there as she tried to look for support to react to what was happening.
Her eyes closed as she tried to respond to the kiss and she let him enter her mouth giving access to his tongue. Rehaan's hands went to her waist holding her with a stronger grip and then he pulled back sensing her going out of breath.
Shahwar had never been kissed before, by any man. She was feeling delirious and shy at the same time, her heart was bouncing at different angles and Rehaan closed his eyes resting his forehead against hers.
There sound of the rain pouring heavily outside the warehouse was heard clearly now. "Rehaan?" She asked out of fear what would happen next.
"Hm?" He moved his face up and kissed her forehead.
"Are you still angry?" Now he was angry at himself for making her go through his own turmoil of insecurities about her feelings.
He pulled her to him hugging her and started kissing her head indefinitely. "Is it possible to be angry with you my darling?" He whispered between the kisses.
"You were very upset with me." She sniffed.
"I wasn't. I'm just a very stupid man. I'm sorry." He held her face in his hands and looked down at her, "I won't do it again. I'm sorry Shahwar."
"I don't like it when you're upset." She hid her face inside his chest.
"And I don't like it when you cry. Don't do it again." He pecked her hair.
