I have owed you guys this chapter for a very long time, so here it is. Now, I will probably disappear again for the foreseeable future, my apologies.
Third Person POV
The entrance exam... Hitoshi could remember the first time he took it. The time when he'd been deemed not good enough. Villainous. Looking back, he hadn't done much heroing in the other world, nor once he got back. His younger self would hate him. Despise him for becoming something he swore he wouldn't be.
Quite frankly, Hitoshi no longer cared. He died. His life as a hero ended, and his life as a hunter began. Sure he lost a couple morals along the way, but he's never felt as free.
Now here he was, standing in front of the gates of the school he never wanted to see again. He walked in, his troupe following close behind. They walked in silence. Hitoshi didn't want to waste his breath on meaningless words, not here.
They found seats in the back of the auditorium. Hitoshi was not surprised when Shoto Todoroki joined them, slipping in beside Hisoka. Since he'd heard the presentation before, he ignored it. He knew the five of them would easily make it into class 1A, he just didn't know who they would replace. He couldn't imagine the little grape boy would be there, Hitoshi vaguely recalled his score being the lowest.
Well, one pervert will be replaced by another he supposed. Hisoka had been sending unsavoury emotions through the bond since Shoto sat down beside him.
He could feel Feitan's and Chrollo's disgust filtering through as well. Illumi wasn't feeling enough of anything for it to register among the mess of emotions. Not that that was any surprise.
Hitoshi knew Shoto was taking the private evaluation, and would not join them outside once they were dismissed. He has not yet broken the news to Hisoka though...

Hitoshi and his troupe hit the ground running the second they exited the building. A lot of useless standing around had happened the first time. It wasn't going to happen again.
They formed up in a triangle shape, Feitan taking point with Chrollo and Illumi behind him. Hisoka and Hitoshi ran behind them.
Their strategy was simple, the hunter taking point would kill the first robot they saw, and then they'd rotate positions. This, in theory, would allow everyone to get around the same amount of points.
Now, why not just go off in random directions alone? Hitoshi wanted to make it clear to the examiners that they were a group. They would be going into the same class, or none at all.
So off they ran. To anyone who's never trained anything other than their quirk, it may seem like they all had speed quirks, but no. Turns out the troupe could still use nen, and wasn't that just the most useful quirk to have.
Feitan shot towards the first robot with lightning speed, kicking straight through its body, effectively destroying it. Illumi rotated in, making swift work of the next one.
Hitoshi had, of course, informed them that there were points for rescues. So, if no robots were in sight, the group performed efficient rescues together, therefore all getting points.
The time passed in the blink of an eye. By Hitoshi's calculations everyone got as high as they needed to.
"That was boring." Hisoka commented.
Feitan nodded in agreement.
Hitoshi rolled his eyes, "welcome to high school."
"Gon is better."
Hitoshi's eyes flicked to Hisoka's, "that does not surprise me."
Illumi stated, "Killua could destroy everyone."
