Cordell POV:

It was a year since we left the pack, you would think now that we were free everything good was going to come our way. I was wrong, six months in the forest we were trying to survive the best way we can, we were hurting for our food, and trying to stay clear from any trouble. Everything was wonderful until one day without knowing we were ambush by a group of rouges. We fought with everything that we had, but it wasn't enough and soon I was the only one survive while my friends were kill.

They lay there on the ground; I looked into their eyes and saw how lifeless they were. It reminded me back when I saw my siblings bodies on the ground, it hurt to see that they are dead but I know deep inside they are in a better place. I gather some tree branches and place them on their bodies and that when I said a prayer to them. I walked on, I had to keep moving because if I don't everything that we did to get here would be in vain.

It was a few days, I been doing good with avoiding danger, It hurts that my friends are not here. I know the reason that we could overcome the rouge attack. It's because we were not train, and also, we could shift often because that bastard of an Alpha would have the pack doctors to inject us with wolfbane from time to time. I only thought that effect the wolves, but I was wrong it can cause harm to any species. I was so into my thoughts that I did not realize I was walking into danger until I heard the loud growls.

Pulling me out of my thoughts, I notice that there were three wolves were circling me. They looked like wild vicious animals from the look in their eyes they have no sight of reality. Animals like them need to be put down for good, over the years I learn about rouges. I learn they are bad, and don't like to play by the rules of the pack. And if they continue being lone wolves without joining a pack, they will go crazy. there are other reasons for the wolves to become rouges it saddens me to see this what society have to offer.

There no time for me to think, I have to find away to escape these monsters before I'm dom. Before I could pin out my moves, Two wolves appear, a gray one , and a white one. What I found interest is that these wolves were different they were bigger, and they stand on two feet. Immediately the two wolves took charge, I was amazed to see them in actions. In seconds the two wolves kill the rouges instantly. Leaving one wolf begin I could see he was frighten, before he could get away I grab him by his neck and snap it making him become lifeless I threw him to the ground.

The two wolves looked at me, then he went behind the tree and shifted, when they came out I saw that they were two woman, an older one and younger one. That when I pick up on a wonderful scent of raspberries, I could feel my mouth watering I looked over to the young woman there when I caught her beauty and suddenly the words escape my mouth "Mate". I rush over to greet her but was stop by the older woman, she places my mate behind her.

That when I found out that she was my mate mother name is Sapphire, and she also told me that my mate who name is Mileena is too young to know that we are mates. I understood from the looks Mileena was giving me. from there we got to know each other that when I found out they are Lycans. I heard of Lycans I learn about Lycans and their colors I never heard of there being a white Lycan.

I told Sapphire and Mileena what I was and the reason for being in the forest I told them about Alpha Brimstone and also that my friends got killed. From there I could see that they were giving me sympathy. Sapphire told me they are trying to find a pack to settle it and if I want, I can come along with them. Of course, I accepted the invitation immediately. I found my mate I will not leave her; we took off.

We were walking for hours; the weather was hot it feels like we are going to pass out if we don't get any water. It seems like the moon goddess had answer our prayers. There was a stream ahead, Mileena walked ahead of us, and she was about to get a drink of water when we heard a snap of a swig that alerted us. Sapphire told Mileena to hide, I was confused and needed to know why.

Sapphire inform me we no time to discuss, Mileena went behind a tree on the other side and hide. Seconds later five men appear, The man in the middle was the first to speak, Sapphire told him we meant no harm and wanted to leave but the man refuse to let us go. Sapphire and the man kept on arguing that we have no choice to but to fight. The man shifted into his brown wolf, while Sapphire and I shifted.

The battle begins, I saw the brown wolf charge at Sapphire, I saw she give that wolf one punch had him falling to the ground. That punch was powerful all I could think of is this man is about to regret what he said. We kept fighting, I could feel we have the upper hand, I don't know how long it's been, but I heard a loud growl that we all stop I looked over and saw that Mileena had shift into her Lycan. I could see the fear in people eyes, I saw Mileena wolf had red eyes, I knew she was upset. I could see the brown wolf and Sapphire shifted.

Sapphire approach her told her she can shifted, Mileena shifted I went over to look for some clothes for both I could find two shirts and I went over and handed to both. They took them and put them on. The man who was the brown wolf ask a question. Sapphire brush him off, then he told us that since Mileena is a white Lycan, she can be in danger that we should come to his pack.

At first Sapphire was hesitate then she remembers we needed to settle to a pack. She ask me I told her it did not matter, she accepted but warn them if they try anything funny she will kick their asses. We gather our things and follow the man. We made it to the pack and was escorted to the Alpha office.

Once inside, the man that spoke to her we found out he was the Alpha Beta, his name was Beta Winston. From there the conversation begin between the Alpha and Sapphire. I stood there listing to everything that Sapphire was saying, I could not believe my ears hearing how my mate was bully in her pack but worst consider an abomination all because she was different. When Sapphire told the Alpha that Mileena is a white Lycan.

I could see the shock in his eyes he could not believe it, he told us we were welcome to join his pack and guarantee that we will not be bully. Then he turns his attention to me and ask me what was I? I told him I was a shifter that brought a smile to his face. We eventually accepted his invitation of joining his pack, when it was settle Alpha ask Mileena could he see her Lycan?

She looked over to Sapphire, she told her it was ok we all the men turn to give Mileena some privacy. Once she shifted Sapphire told us we can turn around, when the Alpha saw Mileena he smile at the sight. I could not help to see how beautiful my mate is. Everyone in that room was show excitement in their eyes.

"I have to agree with you Sapphire, your daughter is a miracle. If you want, I have a friend who is an elder he made know the reason for your daughter being a white Lycan. That if you want me to investigate it?"

"It will be lovely, but please let him know I don't want my mate to find out where we are."

"Understand, my beta will show you to your rooms, and we will have the welcome ceremony at a later time."

We all stood and headed out the door, I hopes that this will be a wonderful place to settle in also I will get to know my mate and future mother-in-law.
