Lucy's perspective:

I woke up from a sharp pain in my lower abdomen. I look at Tim sleeping next to me. I slowly get up and go into the bathroom. As soon as I remove my clothes to go take a shower I realise I got my period. I take quick shower and then I go back in the bedroom. Tim woke up, but he was still staying in bed.

T: Morning! When did you get up? he asks while stretching his body.

L: Morning. A couple minutes ago.

He gets up and goes to wake up Emma. As he leaves I lay back on the bed, trying to make my pain leave, but is not working. After a couple of minutes I get up because I have to get ready for work. I choose some comfy clothes to wear at the station, because I'm a detective now and the badge is the only thing we have to wear during our shift. I walk downstair with my hand placed on my lower stomach and I see Tim and our daughter in the kitchen. When he sees me he comes closer placing his warm hand on my waist.

T: You okay? he says looking straight into my eyes.

L: Mhm...Just cramps...

He gives me a soft smile and then places a kiss onto my forehead. He knows how bad my periods can be. Even when I was a rookie he knew when my period was because the cramps were really bad. Tim goes back to the table and places some pancakes in Emma's plate. She was at the table, waiting for her food. I  sat next to her, placing both of my hands onto my lower abdomen. Tim wants to put some pancakes for me too, but I refuse him.

T: You sure you don't want some?

L: Yeah...I'm a little nauseous.

T: Okay, I'll make you a tea.

L: Thanks, I love you.

Emma finishes her pancakes and tries to jump in my lap, but Tim stops her.

T: Em, mommy isn't feeling good, why don't you go watch some cartoons?

E: Is mommy gwood?

L: Yes sweetie, I'm okay, go into the living room. I say smiling at her.

Tim gives me my tea and sits next to me.

T: Are you sure you don't wanna stay home today?

L: Yeah, I'll be at the station sitting at my desk, it's not like I'm patrolling.

T: Okay, then we should go.

They left Emma at kindergarten and then went to the station.

This is the end of the part, hope you liked it. I'm sorry it's so short, I didn't knew what to write.
