Sleepy days

It was around 3pm when Lucy entered Tim's office. He was staying at his desk, writing some reports. 

L: Hey.

T: Hey. You okay? he said looking her up and down.

L: Yeah. she said a hand on her growing belly.

T: You tired, aren't you?

L: Yeah, a little. I'm going to pick Emma up from kindergarten, when does your shift end?

T: In a couple of hours. 

L: Okay, see ya at home. Bye!

T: Bye, love ya!

L: Love you too!

Lucy got into her car and drove to Emma's daycare and picked her up. They went home and both changed into comfy clothes. Lucy made dinner for her girl and then sat on the couch cuddled up with her.

E: Mommy?

L: Yes sweetie?

E: When will the baby come? I want to play with him...

L: Oh baby...You have to wait a little more for that. she said chuckling

E: But why?

L: Because your brother is to small right know, he has to get strong so he can play with you, ok?

E: Okay.

Emma placed her head onto Lucy's chest and she started rubbing up her back. After she fell asleep Lucy pulled over them a fluffy blanket and then slowly started falling asleep. 

Hours later Tim's keys opened the house door and he stepped in. After he took off his shoes he left on the floor his work bag and walked through the kitchen until he reached the living room. There he spotted his girls sleeping on the couch. Emma was stirring so Tim approached them.

T: Hey baby. You up? he asked his daughter whispering.

Emma nodded and threw her small arms into Tim's direction so he could pick her up. They walked out of the living room and went upstairs into her room. There Tim let Emma colour some drawings. He went back in the kitchen and warmed up the food that Lucy made earlier. After he ate he saw Lucy stirring and came next to her.

T: Baby, don't you wanna go into bed?

L: I'm too lazy to get up...she said with a sleepy voice.

T: Come here. he said as he picked her up and carried her into their bedroom where he changed into his sweatpants and then put into bed next to her. Lucy immediately rolled over his bare chest and rested her head there. She started drawing circles around his abs and Tim started massaging her arm.
