Steven Universe: Anime Edition.

Pilot.

Steven standing in the middle of the woods with Jasper standing in his direction with the wind blowing gracefully.
Jasper put her hands up as she got into her fighting position, Steven's eyes began to glow pink as he raised his hands with pink brass knuckles forming on his hands.

Jasper quickly rushed Steven and threw a punch at him; he caught it with ease and kicked her back, making her slide backward. She used her comet charge and rushed Steven, but he quickly caught her and threw her into a forest of trees. Jasper quickly recovered and charged Steven with her crash helmet; there, he cocked his fist back and punched her helmet, causing dust and tree debris to get knocked back.

Steven blocked Jasper's right hook and punched Jasper in the face, making her lose her footing but quickly regaining it.

"My Diamond, If I may speak, training with you has been such an honor, I thank you for this!"

Jasper said wholeheartedly just before her and Steven's fists collided. Steven suddenly appeared behind Jasper and kicked her in the side, knocking off her feet, but quickly, she regained herself. As Steven ran to her, time slowed down, only having him going at his normal running speed.

'Four years, four years of training, honing my abilities even further and ditching all the powers that resemble mom's powers. But... A lot changed to make this happen...'

Steven thought to himself, as he closed his eyes, remembering what happened four years ago.
Steven finally reaches the top of the Injector and he collapses in exhaustion. As the song concludes, he spots Spinel standing up ahead, facing away from him. He quickly picks himself up and approaches her.

"Spinel, come on. We can talk this out." He said in a weakened tone.

"I don't wanna play anymore..."
Spinel said. Causing Steven to let out a sigh.

"Spinel... this ISN'T A GAME!"
He exclaimed.

Steven suddenly receives a punch in the face from Spinel, surprising him.

"Huh?"
He questioned.

Spinel gave a second stronger, wound-up punch into Steven's face, sending him flying towards the edge of the Injector and giving him a nosebleed. She then extends her arm to grab Steven's arm and dangle him over the edge. She looks at Steven, an expression of pure hatred on her face.

"You know, I came here to take my anger out on a bunch of strangers, but now that I know you, I wanna kill you even MORE!"
Spinel stated as her rough began to turn more malice.

Spinel begins letting go of Steven one finger at a time. The latter panics, looking down at the city and Spinel, before crying out in anguish.

"STEVEN!"
A voice cried out, catching both Steven's and Spinel's attention.

Spinel looked back, seeing Connie standing to oppose her with Rose's sword.

"Connie!? Wh-what are you doing here!?"
Steven questioned.

"Well, would you look here, another one of your new friends!"
Spinel said with an annoyed look on her face.

"Let Steven go! Now!"
Connie demanded.

Spinel lets out an almost mocking cackle, slightly worrying Connie as a sweat droplet forms on the side of her face.

"You know, I'll give it to you, for being a full human stepping against a gem, you are pretty brave, but thinking you have a chance against me, then you're just as stupid as I thought."
Spinel said.

"Our home is in danger, our friends and family are in danger; if you think I'm going to let you harm Steven on my watch, then you have another thing coming!"
Connie exclaimed just before she charged at Spinel.

"Connie! No!"
Steven cried out.

Connie swung the sword at Spinel with all her might, only for Spinel to dodge her attacks effortlessly while holding Steven in her hand.

"Let Steven go now!"
Connie demanded.

Spinel's smile dropped and gained an angered look on her face.

"Guess you're a close friend of Steven like I thought I was for Pink."
She said in an angered tone.

She quickly enlarged her hand and spread her fingers out to Connie. Connie quickly jumped back, but one finger caught her by her ankle, causing her to fall, and she dropped her sword off the injector. Spinel tossed Connie into the air and caught her by her neck.

"You see, it's like I said. You're so protective of your real friends, and you're so careless with your fake ones!"
She said as her grip around Connie's neck began to grow tighter; Connie tried breaking out while frantically kicking her.

"Spinel! No! Stop!!"
Steven cried out.

"No, you don't know what it feels like to lose someone who made you feel happy; you don't know what it felt like to know you're happiness was just a mirage! You don't know how it feels to lose someone who makes your existence feel important... So I'll show you what it feels like! From first hand!"
Spinel exclaimed as her grip around Connie's neck grew even tighter than before, causing Connie to gasp for air.

Steven's eyes began to tear up; just before he could cry out once more, Spinel wrapped her hand around Steven's mouth, forcing him to be silent and watch as Connie was left helpless. Suddenly, Steven's eyes widened as he heard to sound of Connie's neck breaking.
Leaving Steven frozen from shock, Spinel dropped Connie's body and let both Steven and her go. Steven got up and stumbled over to Connie, as he grew closer to her, his eyes began to tear up uncontrollably.

"Connie... Connie... Please! Please get up! Please!"
Steven pleaded as he lifted her head and held her tightly.

"Please, Connie! I can't lose you... I-I can't see myself without you!! Connie! Please! Don't leave me!!!"
He begged, as his voice cracked.

"Now she's gone, your other friends and family will be next, but before they go, you will- huh?"
Spinel was saying before Steven's gem began to glow.
