3rd Person POV

Auggie released Lily from the hug and went back over to the kitchen where Topanga and Amy continued to make dinner. Josh went over to Shawn as he stood up to face the teen. "Hey, Shawn. Am I cooler than you yet?"
"Oh, not yet, but I'm getting nervous. C'mere", Shawn said as the two hugged. Topanga went over to Shawn and smiled at him.

"Hey, Mrs. Cory."
"Hey, Mr. Cory." The two hugged while Cory stood up. Once they separated he put a hand on each of their shoulders and smiled at them.
"You two. How great is this? My favorite person in the world...and my wife." Shawn smiled nervously at Topanga before she turned to Lily and the girls and repeated her statement.

"My whole life." She then asked Lily if the girl wanted to help with dinner and she gladly said yes, not wanting to seem like a burden for the surprise entrance. She took off her sweater so it wouldn't get ruined and placed it with her coat before going over, tying an apron around her waist, and started helping with the meal.

Alan stood up from behind Shawn and spoke to him. "Hey, Shawn. How you doin'?", he asked while hugging his son's best friend.
"I keep movin', Mr. Mathews." Amy stopped working for a split second and beckoned him over to her for her hug.
"We're glad you're here. Are you hungry?", she asked while releasing Shawn from the hug.
"Yeah."
"Good luck with that."
"Hey! I'm good at cooking, Amy", Lily said while putting a hand over her heart dramatically.

She chuckled at the young adult before Topanga smiled at that and also contradicted Amy's statement. "I'm right here." She laughed and went back to work as Riley and Maya stood up and approached Shawn.
"Hi, Uncle Shawn."
"Yeah...hey, kids", he said before leaving the awkward situation to go over to his friend.

Maya looked at Riley skeptically and repeated Shawn's words. "'Yeah. Hey, kids?'"
"It's getting better. Last time it was just...", Riley said before nodding her head with a stone face.
"Maybe he's just not a big talker." Ironically, right after Maya's statement Shawn told Cory that they had a lot to talk about.
"Cor, time to talk. We got a lot to catch up on."

He threw his coat on the couch before the two girls disappeared to Riley's room to talk at the bay window. Lily was still helping in the kitchen before Topanga forced the girl to take a break. "Lily, you don't have to do all this. Go talk, have fun."
"Topanga I feel bad just inviting myself in to your home unannounced like this. At least let me help with dinner."
"Nope. Go relax", Topanga said before walking behind the girl, untying her apron, and pushing the girl down the step and into the living room.

She playfully rolled her eyes at the older woman's actions before sitting down at the bay window. Josh joined her and looked her up and down while she looked out the window. Lily felt like someone was watching her so she turned her gaze and saw the young man looking at her. She fully turned her head and crossed her arms as she watched him stare at her in a daze.

She snapped her fingers in front of his face before laughing slightly. "My eyes are up here, Josh", she said playfully before smiling at him. A hint of blush dusted the boy's cheeks before he smiled back at her, the two maintaining eye contact for a good minute. Lily realized what they were doing and quickly looked back out at the city lights, mesmerized at how beautiful it was. She quickly went over to her purse, pulled out a small digital camera, went back over to the window, and snapped a photo of the scenery.
