3rd Person POV

Lily was sitting on her bed in her apartment before she got a knock on her door. The girl, only wearing an oversized t-shirt and pajama pants, hastily got up and went to the door, only to find Riley at her door. "Yes, Riley?", she asked while holding the door open.
"I was wondering if you would come to family game night. Maya's coming and she's like family, and, so are you. So, what do you say?", Riley asked with a bright smile. Lily smiled at the girl and nodded, having nothing else to do that night.

The younger girl left with a smile across her face and went back to her apartment to finish up some of her homework. Lily went into her room and got dressed before leaving her apartment and entering the Mathews', only to hear bickering between the father and daughter.

She gently shut the door before listening in on the two fighting about game night. "Family game night. My favorite night of the month. Just me, my family, and my 'jama pants", Cory said while caressing his pajama pants. Topanga laughed at her husband before Riley approached her father. Lily went and sat down next to Topanga and smiled at the girl before watching the interaction with her full attention.

"Why do you guys have to make such a big deal about game night?"
"Because game night is sacred, Riley", Cory chuckled, "I know this is gonna come as a shock to you, but there's gonna come a day where you start to prioritize friends over your family."
"What? No", Riley said sarcastically. Lily chuckled before Cory screamed and raised his hands up before staring at the girl with a shocked and surprised expression.

"You! Why are you here?", he asked while pointing at her with a now irritated expression.
"Your precious daughter invited me, Cor." Just then, Maya walked in and started talking to Riley.
"Did you tell them yet? Hi, Lily. Did he freak? Did she tell you? Did you freak? Show me what you did. Freak out for me", the younger Hart exclaimed excitedly.

"Why would I freak out? I don't freak out", Cory paused before shouting, "What did you do?!" Before Riley could answer, Josh and Auggie entered the apartment.
"Family game night, now with extra family", Auggie announced while Josh closed the door.
"Well, hello", Maya said, trying to be flirtatious.

Lily chuckled at her sister before watching the two interact. "Well, hello", Auggie mocked, doing the same movement with his own hair as Maya. The young Hart dropped her smile before glaring slightly at him.
"Auggie didn't want to miss game night. We never made it out of the city. Oh, here's your money", Josh filled in, before giving Cory back a dollar while Auggie went and sat in Lily's lap.

"Hey, this is a dollar. I gave you a hundred."
"With that kind of money, you think we're not gonna buy steaks?", Josh asked his older brother in a sort of 'duh' tone. Lily snorted at this while Auggie smiled brightly at the young adult.
"Thank you, papa", he said while lifting up his shirts and patting his belly.

"You know what? My brother!"
"My brother!", the two exclaimed before hugging.
"Listen, you're here for game night. You're family. You're in." Just as Cory said this, the intercom buzzed and Farkle announced his presence.
"Farkle."
"And Lucas", the Texan boy announced. Lily raised an eyebrow from not knowing who he was. She looked to her sister for an explanation but she just smirked at her sister.
