Chapter 17: "Strike Of The Pack"

POV Amilena Naki The sun was beginning to help the sky look darker and darker, but in my wolf form I would be able to see just fine, even at midnight. Knowing I could strike the two Vesh bases that were given to me the way I wanted, I instantly knew that I wanted to have the pack help me clean up any of the Vesh soilders that were roaming outside of the base, or on guard at the time. I howled as loudly as I could, calling my pack and other packs that would work well with us because they didn't have any negative history with us. Because my pack has made a lot of enemies over the years, in the north and south parts of Kishi, my pack had a real problem with hunting in other packs territory, and that's often led to a lot of pack leaders having to physically fight over the matter. The first wolf to reunite with me was the alpha female of my pack who I met when I was young and still learning who I was. Now, the alpha male and female made it very obvious that I was now the leader of the whole pack. With my help, my pack, over time, grew from only sixty to eighty wolves in the pack to presently, my pack is made up of around six thousand wolves all around Kishi and has over fifty alliances with different packs. It's just one of the many reasons my pack is feared by all of the other packs in Kishi, besides the fact that sometimes they hunt or patrol with a huge wolf that's about six feet tall on all fours... Which is me. The alpha male was an all-back wolf like me only; he had blue eyes, and I have red eyes. The alpha female was a white wolf with two gray stripes on either side of her body, and she has green eyes. She was the one who came up to me first, and when she did, I shrank myself down to a reasonable size, which was about the normal size for an adult wolf on all fours, which was about three feet tall. At that size, she rubbed her against mine, and the alpha male did the same after her. I then stomped my paw viciously, cracking the ground, and I willed the wind to come to me, and I thought to myself, "Protect my pack and the ones who have come to help these Vesh soilders meet Oradashi, the warden of hell." Then a wave of wind that felt like a strong breeze blew over the hundreds of wolves that were gathered. Before me, then I became a huge wolf again, and again I howled, letting all my brothers and sisters know that we were to defeat yet another enemy of the pack... That enemy was the Vesh empire as a whole, and I began to sprint swiftly through the growing darkness, leading my pack and hundreds of our allies to those two Vesh bases that were unluckily signed up for a very unfriendly appointment with me, Amilena Naki, or better yet, Air'rima, the Goddess of Wind. They wouldn't be given mercy; no one caught in our jaws would live...
